Science Investigation: The Earth has an Axis. This is like an invisible stick through the centre of it. As the Earth orbits the sun, it also rotates on its axis. Using a skewer, toothpick or stick of some sort pushed through a ball of play dough or blue-tac, see if you can recreate the earth spinning on its axis. Put a mark onto your ball with a pen of by making a small hole. This is you! Head to somewhere dark(ish). Using a torch or other narrow source of light, shine it onto your ball from the side.
