*At the end of each class students and teachers have five minutes to change classroom, the beginning time of lessons is flexible.

In our future European school students are at school five days a week, twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) they also have afternoon lesson.

On Saturday the school is closed.

There are fourty-five minutes daily. Every three lessons there’s a 30-minute break.

In the evening there are different activities. You can also have extra lessons.

In our future European school we will have the option of having lessons via videoconferencing. There are two possibilities:

A) Evening classes extracurricular courses for students can not reach the school for problems related to transport;

B) Absent students can record lessons and then have the opportunity of recovering them.

In our future European school the students can stay outside the school to make extra-curricular activities every in the afternoon. These activities are different the students can do sports or other activities such as theater, music, etc.

Term Holiday

The school begins in September and late October there is one week of vacation; in late December there will be Christmas holidays that last two weeks. In late February there will be a skiing holiday week. In late April Easter holidays and then school ends in June. In July there will be no revision courses, summer sports activities, exams,etc.

Evaluation sheets will be given. At the end of the first year students must take an exam with certification of their competences, the same at the end of the following three years. The test will be divided into a written part with standard questionnaires and an oral interview with previously agreed subjects. The exam will be evaluated by school teachers and by external teacher.

LEARNING COMPETENCES EVALUATION SHEET

3-4 A significant number of required learning skills are missing. Learners do not demonstrate basic learning competences. The student has limited understanding of the concepts. Reflections illustrate a minimal ability to critique work.

5-6 All required skills are included. Learners demonstrate some of the desired learning competences. The student has gained some understanding of the concepts and attempts to apply them. Reflections illustrate an attempt to critique work, and to suggest alternatives.

6-7 All required skills are included, with a few additions. Learners clearly demonstrate most of the desired learning competences. The student has gained a general understanding of the concepts and applications. Reflections illustrate the ability to critique work, and to suggest constructive practical alternatives

8-10 All required skills are included, with a significant number of additions. Learners clearly demonstrate that the desired learning competences have been achieved. The student has gained a significant understanding of the concepts and applications. BOOKS The books are free for all the

students and they are financed by

the government.

SANDWICH DAY On this day all the students eat a sandwich and then, they can play games, do activities, partipate in sport competitions and there is street market too. The sandwiches are made by the peple from

the school. The money collected is for the Pro-family project and for others NGOs.

GALLERY In the galleries of the school the

students can show the work that they have done in the school year and the

photos of the special events.

• We think that we can make a party that recolected money to the poor

countries to help they, and then with the money we can send it.

• We can do activities to teach the student how works in the NGO’s and

colabore with their.

• We can do activities in Christmas like visiting the eldiry people who is in

the old people's home and don’t have families. The students can give

they presents and play carts with them and activities like that.

• We can do excursions to orphans and visit the children who haven’t got

parents and help them studying and doing homework.

• We can colaborate with the poorest countries giving clothes and toys.

More math lessons (at least 4 h / week) Not more than 2 afternoons and not longer

than 4 pm. Sport lessons only for 2 hours Informatics lessons as a main subject. After lunch time, we are tired, so we want to

finish the more dense subjects at 2:00 and, in the afternoon have the subjects more fun like art and drama.

VIRTUAL CAMPUS The school has a virtual campus: The Virtual Campus is a part of the school’s website where the teachers and students upload the homework, the notes and the dates of the exams. For example: If you are ill and you can’t go to the school in this website you can look up the things that your classmates did in class.

STUDENTS’ COUNCIL This is a council where the students can make decisions about their school life. This means that the students can be involved in the decisions about the school, so the students won’t be affected by the final decision.

RADIO AND NEWSPAPER

In the school, there will be a radio for the students and the people who want to hear it. The radio will be worked on by the students who want to. There will be music programs, news, advices and there will be a late-night program for the students who can’t sleep. The newspaper will be written by the journalism subject group every week, and the newspaper has to be ready for Friday. The newspaper will have sections as international and school news, gossips, sports, etc…
