PACKET PICK-UPAll participants are required to attend the Disneyland® Health & Fitness Expo at the Disneyland® Hotel in order to receive their event shirt, race number, and turn in a signed a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian. Packet Pick-up is available:

• Friday, September 3: Noon - 8:00 p.m.

PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITYChildren up to age 8 may participate in the Disneyland® Kids’ Races including infants in the Diaper Dash!

• 1-3 years old - 100 meter dash• 4-6 years old - 200 meter dash• 7-8 years old - 400 meter dash• 12 months & under - Diaper Dash (crawlers only)

COURSEThe Disneyland® Kids’ Races will take place in the Paradise Pier section of Disney California Adventure™ Park. The race will be held rain or shine!

RACE STARTThe Kids’ Races will start immediately following the Disneyland® Fabulous 5K at approximately 8:30 a.m. – beginning with the 1-3 year old competitors, followed by the 4-6 year olds, who are succeeded by the 7-8 year old athletes. The races will conclude with the exciting Diaper Dash for our crawling competitors! Each group will have its own start line, highlighted for all parents to find. Kids will stage in the Performance Corridor near the entrance to “a bug’s land” prior to the start of the races. Diaper Dash participants will stage in Paradise Park. Please listen to the Race Announcer for exact instructions. Volunteers will be on hand to ensure that each special athlete gets to the correct start line! Any parents who wish to run with their child(ren) are encouraged to do so. Parents should bring their registered children to a special entrance located between World of Disney® and La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney® District and follow the signs directing them to the holding area by 7:45 a.m.

SAFETYFor the safety of yourself and the other participants, baby joggers/strollers, baby carriers/backpacks, inline skates, bicycles, skateboards, and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course.

MEDALSAll finishers will receive a specially designed commemorative finisher medallion before exiting the finish chute. Medals will be given to official Kids’ Race participants only. Parents who choose to run with their kids will not receive a medal.

REFRESHMENTSDasani® water, PowerAde®, and Clif® Z-Bars will be available for participants at the Finish Line.

SPECTATOR VIEWINGThe entire race will take place inside Disney California Adventure™ Park with room for family and friends to watch, so bring your camera to capture these special memories! Access the park through a special entrance located between World of Disney® and La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney® District.

PHOTOGRAPHERS ASI photographers will be on the course and at the Finish Line taking pictures of you during the race. Please be sure your child has their bib number on the front of their shirt and remind them to smile. Please visit asiorders.com after the race to view your race photos.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATIONParking is available at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, located off Disneyland Drive at Ball Road. Follow the signs for Theme Park Parking. Standard parking fees apply. Additional information regarding weekend transportation is available on the next page.

MICKEY & FRIENDSPARKING STRUCTURE

Shuttle buses will depart from select Disneyland® Resort Good Neighbor Hotels to the Disneyland® Resort East Esplanade Shuttle Drop-Off area every 20 minutes continuously through the weekend (9/3-9/5) during scheduled Disneyland® Half Marathon Weekend events. The event shuttle is a complimentary service to all runners and spectators who are staying at the select hotels. You will receive a receipt from your driver the first time you board the shuttle. Please save this ticket for use over the entire Disneyland® Half Marathon Weekend. Due to the 5K start, shuttles will drop off at the Pinocchio Parking Lot from 5:30 - 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, returning to their scheduled route at 7:00 a.m.
