Counting SkillsThere are lots of different

counting games to play today including ‘Hide and Wizard’

and ‘What’s the spell Mr Wizard?’ these can be played together with your grown up

or your siblings.

Additional activities you might like to try:

Create a washing line and write out the numbers 0-30 on separate pieces of paper. Can children peg the numbers on the line in the correct order? Once this has been done, ask children to look away while you remove some numbers,

can they tell you which numbers you have removed?

Alternatively, use a number line or 100 square, cover up several different numbers. Can children tell you which

numbers are missing?

List Making and HalvingToday, you must create a

special potion to get rid of the wizard! Make sure to click the link for day 4 to see what your potion must include. You will also need to half the amount of food on the plates. To do

this, the pages can be printed out or you could use an actual plate and different objects so

they can be easily moved around.

For further halving practise use the PDF on our school

website. This looks at how to cut different food in half but

also how to share between tw.

Additional activities you might like to try:

Create a timetable or a story map showing the different events of the story and the

days that they happened on. This can be done using key words, drawings and some

sentences.

Practise sharing out sweets/cheerios/raisins etc. with someone in your house.

the crowns symmetrical.

Crown symmetry painting- using the black template on our website or by drawing

your own paint one side of the crown with a shape or

pattern. Then fold the paper carefully down the middle to
