Today’s readings are about being chosen and sent.The prophet Amos was chosen by the Lord and sent to use his talents for the peo-ple of God.The Gospel recounts the story of the sending of the twelve. In the second reading, St. Paul reminds us that we, too, are chosen. For what have I been chosen? To whom have I been sent?

Our Faith Formation Program is looking for volunterers for next year who are willing to share their

faith and their time.

No experience necessary.

If you are interested in volunteering please check the Austin Diocese website at www.austindiocese.org for

available Ethics & Integrity Workshops and to sumit an application for Mi-

nistry. It is important to submit the application., then you have 60 days to take the class before beginning to teach. If you do not have access to a computer paper applications are available at the main church office.

To be compliant, one submits an EIM Application for Ministry (one time only) and attends an EIM Workshop every three years.
