Our children must use our compulsory schoolbag which is an orthopaedic bag, designed for the best support for your child’s growing posture. To order, simply pay the amount into the school’s account - separate from any other payments - with ref: TOTEM & (CHILD’S NAME AND SURNAME), bring us the proof of payment and the bag can be collected at the admin office. The bag/s can be taken to ‘The Shop’ for embroidering of child’s name & surname (at an additional cost of R40,00, payable to: ‘The Shop’). Gr R, 1, 2 & 3 R900,00 Gr 4 - 7 R1200,00 - R8 000.00 Development Fund Fee (per family)* - R2 500 Registration Fee (per child)* - R3 000 deposit (off-set against your first month’s fees) - R5 990 per month for 11 months. All fees are payable in advance by the 1st of each month. - R65 890 full annual payment in advance by the end of January - *Once-off, non-refundable payments Daily from 13:00 (Pre-School) and 13:30 (Primary School) to 17:30 – including lunch, a snack and a structured afternoon programme. - R1 260 per month per child for 11 months - Casual Members – R85 per child per day with a meal; R80 per child per day without a meal - First-Time Registration: R300 - Re-registration: R100 (To be billed on debtors’ account) - Aftercare shirts: R150 (payable to The Shop). The PTA organises fun functions throughout the year, and some of these are pre-paid in the fee structure. - R560 per year for a family with 1 child - R740 per year for a family with 2 children - R935 per year for a family with 3 or more children Fee Structure 2021 FEE STRUCTURE St Paulus fees are not structured to subsidise other pupils, but structured to include a wide spectrum of activities which eliminate any hidden and unforeseen costs. These include: Pre-School A class T-shirt, Music, Young Engineers, Mini sport skills development (Gr00 & GrR), Sensory Integrated Movement Sessions (SIMS), Cookery Club (GrR), Physical Education (GrR), two intings/special activities per term (e.g. educational shows and fun days) Primary School Intings and outings, SIMS programme (Gr1), reading & literacy interventions, annual reading-age assessments (Gr2-6), Mathematics intervention, Afrikaans Huistaal intervention, Specialised Homework sessions, Extra Maths, English & Afrikaans classes, IEB Core Skills Assessments (Gr6), ISASA Shared Assessment (Gr7), Moral Education as part of the curriculum (Gr7), Moral Ed Workshops (Gr6 & 7), Social Media Workshops (Grades 4 – 7), Leadership Development programmes (Gr7), Pastoral Care, Religious Education (Preparation for First Holy Communion at Grade 3 level for Catholics) and a diverse Sports Programme. At St Paulus we follow the Time2Read programme as well as the Mathegenius programme.
