the newsletter designed to deliverinormation, news and events direct tothe heart o your community.
Tis autumn weve been celebrating the 350thanniversar o the granting o the Roal Charter. A date in
histor that changed the ate and ace o Falmouth orever.Celebrations kicked o with our 350th Art Exhibition,
opened b Sarah Newton MP, ollowed b a parade led b theRoal Marine Band, the Sea Cadets and Guides and Scouts.On the anniversar date a reenactment took to the streets,messages were sent to all Falmouths around the world,
whilst the Big Sing All the Kings provided a ne nale.Im also pleased to announce that Falmouth was etagain triumphant in the annual South West In BloomAwards, bringing home Gold or the town along withman special accolades or the local communit.

Visitor Hospitalit ProjectEver ear our town sees thousands o tourists fock to itsshores and centre, providing not just an important income,but also the chance to champion the amazing place in
which we live.
We realise that we are instrumental inthe visitor experience and the VisitorHospitality Project, one o the largestprojects in the Falmouth BID, has been
designed to enhance this experience.Spearheading improved inormation, destination
signage and interpretation o the area, the project aims to:Increase visitor satisfaction Extend the visitor stay by
encouraging them to see and explore more Increase visitor
spend in our BID businesses, which in turn helps stimulateeconomic growth in the town Support from Falmouth
own Council, Falmouth Harbour Commissioners andFalmouth own Forum has been excellent, with theCouncil committing 20k towards the initiative.

A message rom Richard GatesIve been in the role as own Manager or almost two earsnow and in that time man achievements and changes havetaken place in Falmouth as well as man challenges.
Te events calendar has gone romstrength to strength, with historiccelebrations continuing to playimportant and unique roles in the town.
One o opportunities, such as the lming o Brad Pittslm World War Z, have injected a considerable amount oincome into the local econom and shone the spotlight on
our town.Te town management team has worked hard with
the Falmouth BID and man other organisations to makethese events a success. In particular Id like to thank RuthAbraham (own Management Assistant) and Ruth Tomas(own Council Finance Ocer), alongside the volunteer
marshals who contribute invaluable support.We continue to strive to make Falmouth better and
plans or the coming months ocus on improving andmaintaining public spaces.

HOUSEHOLD WASE RECyCLING CENRE
Its Eas Being Green!A Household Waste Reccling Centre is making greenliving eas in Falmouth.
Opened earlier this ear, the new site, the thirteentho its kind in the count, is a Mecca or reccling. Alongsideprovision or all the usual reccling suspects o cardboard,textiles, plastic and glass, the site also accepts asbestos,
batteries, household chemicals, electrical items, ridgesand reezers or a ull list o items accepted please visitwww.sitacornwall.co.uk
Te site is open 7 days a week and islocated at Carveth Farm - o the A394
between reliever and Longdowns, nearMabe Burnthouse.

LLAMALambs Lane and Asheld Residents Association (LLAMA)held their annual un da on the 17th September, whichcoincided with the ocial opening o the Phase III worksb the Maor.
Kimberle Park AssociationTe Association, together with Falmouth own Council,has submitted an application to the Big Lotter Fund. Isuccessul unds will be added to the Councils budgetedcontribution and used to acilitate the installation o the
Phase I enhanced pla or toddlers. Outline designs havebeen agreed with an emphasis on locall sourced productswherever possible.
Public ConveniencesTe contract or replacement public convenience provision
