If you’ve ever tried to satisfy your passion for sport with a piece of sporting memorabilia, then you’ll know how hard it is not to compromise your style at the same time.

The ubiquitous framed jersey inevitably ends up in the pool room or the garage collecting dust.

Fanfare Prints aims to resolve a passion for sport and a sense of style, without compromise.

How it all began

Meet Jamie: a fanatical Hawthorn supporter. And Lynn: his patient wife who loves her home.

Three years ago, Lynn set out to buy Jamie a birthday present. She turned over every stone for a piece of Hawthorn memorabilia that didn’t insult her sense of style and taste.

After a painstaking search, she came up empty handed.

An honest conversation followed, in which the pair decided to design their own Hawthorn print.

A small, but growing legion of fans

From a one off design, screen printed by hand at a local screen printers, friends and family urged the pair to create other boards for different clubs and different sports.

Now, Fanfare Prints is a popular gifting product that covers AFL, NRL, Tennis, Horse Racing, Rugby Union and more.

New designs have expanded the offer and now Fanfare Prints is a business with it’s prints in some prominent Australian homes.

Style with sport smuggled in

From day one, the philosophy of Fanfare Prints was to create something stylish that home lovers would be proud to hang in their living room.

Sport is then smuggled into the design.

To a sports aficionado, the references are clear, to everyone else it’s simply a stylish wall hanging.

The content for each print is researched ahead of the design to ensure all the most important people, places, dates and club memories are captured on each board.

And then the design is complete.

A growing demand for fresh inspiration

Since the first classic Fanfare Print tram scroll design, the search has been on for other inspiration. Other ways to add to the interior design experience and bring sport and good taste together.

Our range of retro Luggage Tag designs embrace the same design philosophy established from the beginning.

All the dates and stats that are so important to the fanatic are craftily woven into the design, in what simply appears as a cool design piece to the uninitiated.

A hand made Australian business

Lynn and Jamie are both proud Australians. Having grown up in Aussie Rules heartland of Melbourne, they are dedicated to creating, designing and producing their product in Australia.

They now live in Sydney with their six year old boy, Blake and wire-haired terrier, Mrs Dooley where, through Fanfare Prints they are supporters of the Glebe Greyhounds football club and other community groups.
