DESCRIPTION

• The project is designed to control the speed of an induction motor such as fans, by using android application device.

• In home automation application, convenience of remotely controlling the speed of the fan is achieved.

• Android Mobile or any device act as a transmitter through Bluetooth, which is then received by Bluetooth receiver (at the receiver end) interfaced to a Arduino Board.

Opto-couplers are made up of a LED and a light sensitive device,

all wrapped up in one package

no electrical connection between the two devices

The light sensitive device may be a photodiode, phototransistor, or

more esoteric devices such as thyristors, triacs etc.
