YAHWEH'S ASSEMBLY IN YAHSHUA

Inside this issue:

Fall Holy Days Summer is almost over, and soon we will be keeping Yahweh’s fall Holy

Days. The four fall Holy Days consist of: Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atone-

ment, Feast of Tabernacles, and the Eighth Day. All of these occur in the Bib-

lical seventh month. The visible new moon crescent begins the Feast of

Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah in the Hebrew. Next we keep the Day

of Atonement, known as Yom Kippur in Hebrew. The Day of Atonement is dif-

ferent from the other Holy Day in the sense that it is a day of fasting. Fasting

means not consuming food or liquid. The Bible refers to is as “afflicting your

souls.”

Then we come to the

much-anticipated Feast

of Tabernacles, also

known as Sukkot in He-

brew. We are com-

manded to live in tempo-

rary dwellings for seven

days, such as tents, cab-

ins, travel trailers, etc.

You may have heard the

Feast of Tabernacles

called by other names

too, such as “Feast of

Booths.”

You can make the Feast of Tabernacles a wonderful time, and a lot of it is

about mental attitude. If you remain positive, oftentimes those around you

will respond positively too. Try to serve others at the feast. You can offer to

help clean up or prepare fellowship meals. There is always something that

you can do! In addition, try to pay attention during sermons and Bible stud-

ies. If possible, take notes too.

Yahweh’s Holy Days have special meaning, and great future significance!

For instance, the Feast of Tabernacles foreshadows a time of great peace in

the Kingdom. Have a blessed fall Holy Day season!

...let us keep the

feast, not with old

leaven, neither with

the leaven of malice

and wickedness; but

with the unleavened

bread of sincerity

and truth.
