INSTALLATION

MountingYoke Mount - Post Mount Using Floodlight Yoke Only

1. Using floodlight yoke as a template, mark and drilldesired location on mounting surface.

2. Secure floodlight yoke to surface using 1/2” bolts or lagscrews (not provided).

Wiring

Wiring oht FlNNdligho1. All components in the fixture are prewired so only line

in, neutral, and ground need to be connected in thefixture to the lead wires (or terminals) per the WiringDiagrams using methods that comply with all applicablecodes. Terminate the equipment grounding conductor

(green) first, the common (white) next, and finally, the line voltage (black) last. For DC voltage applications, connect the positive (+) lead to the white wire and the negative (-) lead to the black wire. Tighten all electrical connections.

MAINTENANCE

●● Perform visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections ona regular basis. The environment and frequency of useshould determine this. However, it is recommended thatchecks be made at least once a year. We recommend anElectrical Preventive Maintenance Program as describedin the National Fire Protection Association Bulletin NFPA70B: Recommended Practice for Electrical EquipmentMaintenance (www.nfpa.org).

●● The lens should be cleaned periodically to ensurecontinued lighting performance. To clean, wipe the lenswith a clean damp cloth. If this is not sufficient, use amild soap or a liquid cleaner such as Collinite NCF orDuco #7. Do not use an abrasive, strong alkaline, or acidcleaner. Damage may result.

●● Visually check for undue heating evidenced bydiscoloration of wires or other components, damagedparts, or leakage evidenced by water or corrosion in theinterior. Replace all worn, damaged, or malfunctioningcomponents and clean gasket seals before putting theluminaire back into service.

●● Electrically check to make sure that all connections areclean and tight.

●● Mechanically check that all parts are properly assembled.

Replacement PartsCooper Lighting Solutions LED Floodlights are designed to provide years of reliable lighting performance. However, should the need for replacement parts arise, they are available through your authorized Cooper Lighting Solutions distributor. Assistance may also be obtained through your local Cooper Lighting Solutions representative.

2. Re-install the back panel and tighten all eight (8) panelmounting screws to 80 in.-lbs.

3. To make final vertical adjustment, loosen the pivotbolts on the floodlight yoke to position floodlight at thedesired angle (limited to 60 degrees forward and 45degrees back).

4. Rotate the floodlight housing to the desired position.

5. Tighten the two pivot bolts to 45 ft.-lbs.

6. Turn power on.

2. Installez le panneau arrière et serrez les 8 vis demontage à un couple de 9,0 Nm (80 po-lbs).

3. Pour terminer l’ajustement vertical, dévissez lesaxes d’articulation du berceau du projecteur afin depositionner le projecteur à l’angle souhaité (limite de 60degrés vers l’avant et 45 degrés vers l’arrière).

4. Tournez le boîtier du projecteur à la position souhaitée.

5. Serrez les 2 axes d’articulation à un couple de 5,1 Nm(45 po-lbs).

6. Remettez sous tension.

ENTRETIEN

●● Effectuez périodiquement des inspections visuelles,électriques et mécaniques. L’environnement et la

fréquence d’utilisation doivent déterminer les périodes.Toutefois, il est recommandé d’effectuer des inspections une fois l’an. Nous recommandons un programme d’entretien électrique préventif comme décrit par le bulletin no 70B de la National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) : Pratique d’entretien pour l’équipement électrique recommandée (Recommanded Practice For Electrical Equipement Maintenance) (www.nfpa.org) (en anglais seulement).

●● La lentille doit être nettoyée périodiquement afind’assurer une performance d’éclairage continue.Nettoyez la lentille avec un linge propre et humide. Sicela s’avère insuffisant, utilisez un savon doux ou unnettoyant liquide comme Collinite NCF ou Duco no 7.N’utilisez pas de nettoyant abrasif, très alcalin ou acide.Vous pourriez endommager la lentille.

Para el cableado cc, conecte el terminal positivo (+) a la línea de salida (NEGR) y el terminal negativo (-) al cable de toma a tierra neutro (BLANC).

2. Reinstale el panel posterior y ajuste los 8 (ocho)tornillos de montaje del panel a 80 pulg./lb.

3. Para realizar los ajustes verticales finales, afloje lospernos de pivote sobre el dintel del reflector, paraposicionar el reflector en el ángulo deseado (con límitesde 60 grados hacia adelante y 45 grados hacia atrás).

4. Gire la cubierta del reflector a la posición deseada.

5. Ajuste los dos pernos de pivote a 45 pies/lb.

6. Conecte la alimentación.

MANTENIMIENTO

●● Realice controles visuales, eléctricos y mecánicosregularmente. El entorno y la frecuencia de uso

deben determinar dichos controles. Sin embargo, se recomienda que los controles se hagan al menos una vez por año. Recomendamos el Programa de Mantenimiento Eléctrico Preventivo, descripto en el Boletín de la NFPA 70B (Asociación Nacional de Protección contra Incendios): Práctica recomendada para mantenimiento de equipos eléctricos (www.nfpa.org).

●● La lente debe limpiarse periódicamente para asegurar sucontinuo rendimiento luminoso. Para limpiarla, frotela lente con un paño limpio y húmedo. Si no fuerasuficiente, utilice un jabón suave o un limpiador líquido,como Collinite NCF o Duco N.° 7. No utilice un limpiadorabrasivo, de alta alcalinidad o ácido. Se pueden producirdaños.

●● Controle visualmente cualquier indicio de calentamientoindebido evidenciado porla decoloración de los cables u otros componentes,piezas dañadas, o fugas evidenciadas por aguao corrosión en su interior. Remplace todos loscomponentes rotos, dañados o que no funcionen y limpielos sellos de juntas antes de volver a poner la luminariaen funcionamiento.

●● Controle las conexiones eléctricas para asegurarse deque todas estén limpias y ajustadas.

●● Controle en forma mecánica que todas las piezas esténensambladas correctamente.

Instrucciones de Instalación de la Visera1. Desconecte la alimentación del reflector.

2. Coloque el reflector hacia arriba.

3. Alinee la visera con cuidado con los 2 (dos) orificiospara los tornillos en la parte superior del artefacto comose muestra en la imagen anterior.

4. Instale los tornillos incluidos con la visera, cuidando deno rayar el acabado del reflector. Ejerza torsión a 80pulg./lb.

5. Instale el reflector de acuerdo con las instruccionesanteriores.

Note:N Se puede instalar la visera antes o después de que el reflector haya sido puesto en funcionamiento.
