• Achieved the Faculty Post-Graduate Award (APF) in every semester during the candidacy term
• Never repeat any courses
• Never received “TL” status
• Never indicted with any disciplinary actions

Special Leave
Students are allowed to apply for a maximum of two (2) semesters of Special Leave throughout the length of study. Each application is valid for one semester. Application must be in writing using the Special Leave Form approved by the Faculty Postgraduate Academic Sub-Committee.

• Plagiarism is an offence. Students must use the TURNITIN software to check for plagiarism for all assignments, projects, research report and thesis. A turnitin manual for students to create an account and ebook on plagiarism guide can be downloaded here.

Student's Attendance
It is compulsory for students to attend lectures, supervision sessions as well as other learning activities such as seminars, workshops laboratory or studio site visits.
Students who fail to achieve 80% of the attendance without written permission from the faculty are not allowed to sit for the final assessment and will be given an F Grade with a ZZ status (barred from taking the examination).

with the Postgraduate Academic Regulations

requirements of the programme BUT acquired a CGPA of less
than 3.00
D7 Was absent for the assessment of all the registered courses for
the semester without the approval of the University
Students with the following status will be terminated from the University.
Appeal for extension of study A student who is terminated may appeal to continue his/her study
in accordance to the procedure stipulated by the University.
