Machine Learning At Your ServiceFactory Talk Augmented Modeler is a workflow wrapper to build, deploy and monitor machine learning solutions. It comprises three powerful applicatoins for Machine Learning development in your operations.

Common challenges in any manufacturing process may include operator mistaken line-ups, poorly performing equipment, bad feedstock quality or any unexpected condition leading to operating deviations from the norm. Unplanned events can be a major hurdle to good performance.

With Anomaly Detection, applications are trained on normal operating data to identify problematic unit operations or lines, be alerted on unusual operations, and identify leading indicators before significant losses occur. Anomaly Detection offers clues to prevent costly shutdowns or minimize unexpected performance deviations.

Predictive Maintenance applications are trained on identified patterns of past failure data to detect and recognize potential future equipment failures, indicate failure urgency and may include an Anomaly Detection model to detect new types of equipment failures. Through predictive maintenance, you have the information for making intelligent prioritization decisions: defer unnecessary maintenance cycles, avoid expensive equipment wear and reduce unplanned equipment failure or downtime. This significantly reduces maintenance spend per unit produced by targeted, intelligent equipment oversight.

Augmented Modeler software also supports Predictive KPIs trained on measured lab qualities or various plant performance indicators. Examples include: what is making

energy costs unusually high, or quality or productivity poor now? This allows you to improve quality, efficiency, yield or productivity with higher plant insight into performance deviations.

FactoryTalk Augmented Modeler is designed to make interactive machine learning applications easy and successful. Not just a common, machine learning toolset, this is an augmented work-flow engine to develop value added Machine Learning applications for manufacturing. The power of Augmented Modelers is that the data science is built in; users are not required to pick the right ML algorithm from a suite of options. Each application (Anomaly Detection, Predictive Maintenance or Predictive KPIs) has a specific industrial value target. Development is self-directed in an integrated, interactive configuration workflow so that your business knowledge leads to a smarter, more maintainable solution.
