April Santos Overseas Region/Kleber Express, Germany Outstanding customer service from April Santos and her team, who stepped up their customer service by offering a variety of hot dogs; fresh buns; a hot chili and cheese dispenser; and containers with lids. Previously, patrons would consume the products on-site or immediately upon entering their vehicles, but then the chili-cheese dog would be cold and undesirable. However, her team alleviated this minor, but important, challenge. Thank you for employing a MVP (Most Valuable Person) in the form of Ms. Santos. Please commend her on a job well done! Starbucks staff Overseas Region/ Camp Walker, Korea I enjoy entering Starbucks usually every day, and they all greet me with a smile and warm “Hello!” They already know what kind of drink I am going to purchase. Each barista takes a short moment to say hello and craft my drink with love! I usually do not prefer the lid on my cup right away and sometimes they make a heart with the foam and it sets my day off perfectly. Keep up the great work! I visit this Starbucks two or three times a week, usually in the morning around 7:30. The morning crew at this Starbucks is phenomenal! They are happy, cheerful and very fast! I may arrived 12th or 14th in line, but have my drink made to perfection in minutes! They all seem to really love their job and stopping in their really gets my day off to a wonderful start! Robin Ayling Central Region/Fort Riley, Kan. I want to thank the general manager, Robin Ayling, and her staff for their generous efforts helping the victims of a fire (at their apartment complex). Upon letting her know what had happened, she immediately provided food for victims at Army Community Service. She contacted her staff at the food court, and called back in minutes to say she could provide 50 Subway sandwiches and 20-25 pizzas. This was so heartwarming. The Subway manager said to call him even if it was after closing and they would prepare more sandwiches. They didn’t just bring trays of sandwiches, they prepared box meals with six-inch sandwiches, along with chips, a large tray of toppings and mayo, mustard and more. These Soldiers and families were so grateful. The pizzas arrived hot and ready to serve. This was such a smooth process working with AAFES. I am so grateful to have the privilege of working with Robin and her staff, who demonstrated their compassion for those that had lost everything. A big thank you to Robin and her staff for stepping up and making this so easy for these Soldiers and Families to have a meal at a time they were feeling so helpless.
