1.0 Omschrijving van het apparaat

2.0 Installatie instructies

De gebruiker dient zich ervan te verzekeren dat zijn personeel volledig is opgeleid voor het installeren van Ex apparatuur en dat er wordt toegezien op de juiste werkprocedures om de veiligheid te waarborgen. De installatie dient in een veilige conditie te worden gehouden. Wees ervan verzekerd dat de heater op een juiste wijze is geïnstalleerd in een geschikte locatie en door technisch gekwalificeerdpersoneel.De installatie dient te voldoen aan de volgende voorschriften: EN/IEC 60079-1 of vergelijkbaar.

2.1 Installatie van de thermostaat

Alvorens het materiaal uit de verpakking te nemen dient men ervan verzekerd te zijn dat de verpakking in goede conditie en vrij van schade is. Beschadigingen dienen te worden gerapporteerd aan de locatie manager en vervolgens aan Sinus Jevi Electric Heating B.V. Zie de maatschets of de documentatie voor de exacte gegevens omtrent de montage posities.De thermostaat is geschikt voor montage op een vlakke ondergrond.

Open het aansluithuis door het deksel los te schroeven.

Sluit de aansluitkabels aan de klemmen conform het aansluitschema.

Sluit een beschermingsleiding aan op de aardbout aan de binnenkant van het aansluithuis.

Indien beschikbaar volg de instructies voor installatie en gebruik van de kabelwartels.

Stel de juiste temperatuurinstelling in met de thermostaatknop.

Attentie!Open het aansluithuis niet wanneer deze onder spanning staat.

3.0 Bedieningsinstructies

Controleer voor inschakelen van de thermostaat op het volgende:

1. De thermostaat dient op de juiste manier aangesloten te zijn2. De elektrische aansluiting is uitgelegd in overeenstemming met de laatste voorschriften en regels en de (ruimte) verwarmer is op de juiste manier aangesloten.3. De beschermingsleiding is aangesloten ter voorkoming van elektrische schokken. 4. In het aansluithuis wordt geen temperatuuroverschrijding van 80°C toegelaten.

Attentie!De gebuikte materialen zijn overeenkomstig de werkzaamheden gekozen.

4.0 Onderhoudsinstructies

Bij juist gebruik is de thermostaat onderhoudsvrij.Alhoewel, we adviseren de volgende punten na gebruik van een jaar te controleren:

1. Controleer de thermostaat op defecten. 2. Controleer de aansluitingen in de behuizing.3. Reinig het oppervlak van de thermostaatbuis zodat deze vrij van stof is. 4. Controleer of de thermostaat schakelt op de omgevingstemperatuur. 5. Controleer de instelling van de thermostaat.6. Indien de thermostaat niet functioneert, controleer de maximaalbeveiliging op de heater en reset de beveiliging.

5.0 Inbedrijfname

Controleer inbedrijfname van de thermostaat op het volgende:

1. De thermostaat dient op de juiste manier aangesloten te zijn. 2. De beschermingsleiding is aangesloten en indien nodig is de externe aansluiting tussen de behuizing en aarde uitgevoerd ter voorkoming van elektrische schokken. (Aardbouten op de steun van de heater).3. De elektrische aansluiting is overeenkomstig de juiste voorzieningen en aansluitschema’s.4. Of alle electrische aansluitingen tussen thermostaat en verwarming juist aangesloten zijn.

5.1 Alvorens de thermostaat aan te zetten:

1. Controleer de voedingsspanning. 2. Controleer de stuurstroomspanning3. Stel het systeem in werking.4. Controleer de temperatuur van de verwarming.

6.0 Garantie

Er is recht op 1 jaar functionele garantie op alle onderdelen.

2.0 Installation instructions

The user must ensure that his employees are fully trained and supervised in the proper installation and working procedures to ensure their safety. The plant must be maintained in safe condition. Ensurethattheheateriscorrectlyinstalledinasuitablelocationbytechnicalqualifiedpersonal.Installation has to meet the requirements of NEN 1010 and EN/IEC 60079-1 or equal standards.

2.1 Thermostat installation

Before unpacking the heater ensure that all items are available and that all crates or packaging are in good condition and undamaged. Any damage must be reported to the site manager and subsequently to Sinus- Jevi Electric Heating B.V. After removing the package check all items for damage, if any, report to the site manager and subsequently to Sinus-Jevi Electric Heating B.V. Refertothedimensionalsketchfortheprecisedataandindicationoffittingposition.Thethermostatis suitableforsurfacemountingonaflatsurface.

Open the junction box by unlocking the cover plate.

Connect the power cables to the terminations of the thermostat according to the installation diagram.

Connect a protective conductor to the earthing bolt on the inside of the junction box.

Followtheinstructionsiftheseareavailableforinstallingandusingthecableglands.

Adjust the thermostat knob for the correct temperature adjustment.

Important!Do not open the junction box when energised.

3.0 Operation instructions

Before initial start-up of the thermostat it should be checked whether:

1. The thermostat has been properly installed.2. The electric connection has been performed in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations and the (space) heater has been properly connected.3. The protective conductor (PE) has been effected, e.g. to avoid an electric shock. 4. In the junction box no temperature exceeding 80°C is admitted.

Important!The materials used where chosen in accordance with the operating conditions.

4.0 Maintenance instructions

If professionally connected the thermostat will be maintenance free.However we advice to check the following items after 1 year operation:

1. Check the thermostat for damage. 2. Check the connections inside the junction box.3. Clean the surface of the thermostat sensor bulb so it will remain free from dirt build-up.4. Check whether the thermostat is still switching on the ambient temperature. 5. Check the setting of the thermostat.6. Should the heater not function check the maximum safety thermostat on the heater and reset the manual button.

5.0 Start-up / commissioning

Before initial start-up of the thermostat it should be checked whether:

1. The thermostat has been properly installed.2. The protective conductor has been connected and if necessary the external connection between housing and earth has been effected, e.g. for avoiding electrostatic discharging. (Earthing bolt on support of the heater). 3. The electrical connection has been done in accordance with the relevant regulations and wiring schematics.4. If all electrical connections between thermostat and heater are correct.

5.1 Before energising the thermostat:

1. Check the supply voltage. 2. Check the control voltage.3. Run the system on working conditions.4. Check the heater on temperature.

6.0 Warranty

A 1 year warranty is provided on all functional parts.
