To receive safe, adequate and nutritious food
Be treated in a non-judgmental manner by all Scott Mission staff and volunteers
An environment free from discrimination and harassment by staff, volunteers, or other resi-dents.
Provide input and feedback into shelter policies and programs .
Be involved in decisions that affect them.
Communicate reasonable goals and receive support from staff to achieve them.
Be given information about Mission services and resources in order to make more produc-tive decisions.
Have personal information treated confidential-ly .
Contact city hostel services for information, voice concerns, or lodge complaints.
Abide by the policies and procedures of The Scott Mission.
Treat The Scott Mission staff and other resi-dents with respect.
Respect the private property of The Scott Mis-sion and other residents.
Co-operate with the case management program to enhance your situation within your capaci-ty.
Not to engage in activities which would endan-ger themselves, others, or The Scott Mission.

Intake
All residents must be present at the intake time; those
who wish to obtain a bed for the first time must sign
up.
Staff will call the Referral Assessment Centre to find
alternate accommodation if no beds are available.
Guests who receive a bed must shower & launder
their clothing the first night. Failure to do so will result
in the individual being referred elsewhere.
Late Passes are distributed to pre-registered guests
who are working or have confirmed appointments. It is
the responsibility of all pre-registered guests to
request late pass from the Overnight Program staff by
7:00am on the date they need a pass.
Every resident will have a locker provided with their
bed.
Dinner
Meals are served twice per night, for residents only.
DINNER II * for clients who missed the DINNER I or
who were on late passes.
Hygiene
All registered guests are expected to exercise
proper hygiene. For the sake of all guests, staff
may require guests to shower, launder or change
their clothes regularly. Refusal to co-operate could
result in The Scott Mission being unable to pro-
vide accommodations to the individual. Soap,
shampoo, towels and laundry detergent are
available.
