Existence I always considered myself an average man .Medium height, medium weight; I have quite a symmetrical face and not such a distinguished knowledge .I know all about trivial things, but almost nothing about the important stuff. Nothing exciting ever happened to me. Unexpectedly, one day everything changed. After my retirement I became lonelier than ever. I was neither in touch with my family, mostly because they were all dead, nor my colleagues. My cat, Mr. Whiskers, was all the company I had. There was not much to say about the place where I lived, a crowded neighborhood, infested with kids and annoying parents .Although, my tiny detached house was the perfect place to spend my dull routine days and nights. One chilly Saturday afternoon I went to the park to feed the pigeons, one of my humdrum tasks .Despite of the fact that it was not winter yet, I kept feeling the cold entering through my coat. When I returned home, I noticed something unusual. There was nobody outside, and all I could see was the glimmer of the lampposts in the distance . I did not pay much attention to this event; it was getting dark so I went home. That very same night, I found Mr. Whiskers mewing directly to the bedroom window. Glaring in the sky a big flying object was approaching more and more. A strange humanoid creature came out. I would have never believed in the existence of extraterrestrial life. I had been skeptical up to that moment. That’s my last memory from planet earth. I wish I had enjoyed more my life there. It´s funny how sometimes you want things that you cannot have, I suppose life is like that, you never actually know what you are going to get. I still feel lonely.

Existence

I always considered myself an average man .Medium height, medium weight; I have quite a symmetrical face and not such a distinguished knowledge .I know all about trivial things, but almost nothing about the important stuff.

There was nobody outside, and all I could see was the glimmer of the lampposts in the distance.
