Exesios is a full-service advertising agency established in 2001.
Exesios, which in Greek means splendid, is a distinctive name chosen not only because it suggests the Greek-Cypriot origin of co-founder Eleni, but because it also encapsulates a shared aspiration for perfection.
Since its inception the agency has carved out a reputation for delivering fresh, fast and highly creative solutions to clients across a range of sectors, from Banks, Financial Institutions, Schools, Universities, Charities, Regional Business Advice Agencies, Museums, City Councils, and many more.
Projects undertaken are not just from the UK but across Europe. Exesios have worked with clients in Murcia Spain, Milan and Faenza (Italy), Selb and Munich (Germany), Limoges (France) and Nicosia (Cyprus). Also, we recently enjoyed designing for the British Showcase in Tokyo Japan and Munich - Germany.
* We have a new design centre at E3 Trentham Business Quarter, for our team of highly skilled designers, photographers and creatives.
* We are passionate about strengthening the community in Stoke on Trent and CSR is at the heart and ethos of Exesios, hence the Community Mark award.
* Exesios is an official distributor for many of the markets leading exhibition / display systems.* We are members of the Design Business Association (DBA) and adhere to their code of conduct.

Ceramic Festival 2007 : Design Competition
Ceramics has a diverse and rich heritage, claiming both the oldest recorded products created by humans and a global contemporary industry that is vigorous and competitive.
The UK industry with its hub, Stoke-on-Trent is reliant for the retention of its position in world markets upon the development of high quality and high value products based upon design and style, advanced manufacturing technologies, superior materials ingenuity and a high degree of craft skills.
Brief
The Staffordshire ceramics industry is steeped in history, tradition and heritage. In the previous three centuries famous for the innovation of classical, archetypal, and iconic quintessentially English products the brief is straightforward it offers the opportunity for designers and artists to explore this tradition and in doing so define, evaluate new values, horizons, directions for the 21st century English ceramic industry.
Your ideas may be about function alternatively they may be simply objects of desire and beauty, where at times the function is secondary to the expressive values of the object, such as the sensorial values.
Objects/products which in themselves may be simple, but they have a context and an intelligence, they have a title, they make you smile, they have character, they re-define.

Thinking Out Loud
Date 26 February 2007 Time 10.00am 3.00pm Venue New Vic Theatre, Etruria Ro
ad,
Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 0JG
A rare opportunity for the areas schools to
explore creative approaches to speaking
and listening with Theatre Cap-a-Pie and
Philosophy for Children.
Creative Partnerships is the Governments flagship creativity
programme for schools and young people, managed by the Arts
Council and funded by the Department for Culture Media and
Sport and the Department for Education and Skills.
We believe Creative Partnerships can transform the aspirations
and achievements of young people, the approaches and attitudes
of teachers and schools and the practices of creative practitioners
and organisations that wish to work with schools.
Creative Partnerships unblocks the creativity of learners and
educators and develops creative approaches to teaching all areas
of the curriculum. We do this by supporting long term partnerships
between creative practitioners and schools.
Creative Partnerships is currently working intensively with over
1000 core schools in 36 areas of significant economic deprivatio
n.
These areas are also developing strategic relationships and
professional development opportunities with over 4000 schools.
We start with the needs of schools and young people. Creative
practitioners come onboard and work in partnership with them,
working across and beyond the curriculum. They help animate
the classroom and find new ways for teachers to teach and
young people to learn. Through the development of projects of
varying scales, creative practitioners, teachers and young people
work together as equal partners to place creativity at the heart
of learning. We believe creativity is not simply about the arts it
is about thinking, problem solving, inventing and reinventing and
about flexing the imaginative muscles.
