“Excellence is an art won by training and
habituation. We do not act rightly because we
have virtue or excellence, but we rather have
those because we have acted rightly.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence,
then, is not an act but a habit.”- Aristotle

Success Vs ExcellenceSuccess Excellence
1. Success is perishable (not permanent) and is often outside our control.
Excellence is something that is lasting and dependable and largely within a person's control.
2. Success mentality causes mental stress and may reduce one’s efficiency.
If you strive for excellence, you will lead to success eventually in a smooth, natural way.
3. A person with success mentality he/she is threatened by the success of others.
People who put excellence in the first place have the patience to end up with success.
4. He/she resents real excellence. The person who is fascinated by quality is excited when he/she sees it in others.

Time Management• Have your Schedule & Time Table for study hours.
(We will see later, how to make them.)
• Be realistic.• know yourself and be honest about how much time each topic/chapter will take.• Your time estimate becomes realistic as you start using Schedule/TT for a couple of
weeks.
• Stick to your short-term goals. • Accommodate flexibility in your schedule as & when the situation
arises. • In addition to your schedule, write out daily tasks on a card and post
it. Order them from “most stressful” or “most difficult” to least stressful. Try to tackle
the stressful ones first. (or upside down, according to your personality)
• Use the daylight hours as much as possible. (‘Go with the Sun’ Philosophy).
