HR issues in India are, creating a high-performance culture. Retaining talent, Recruiting, linking training with performance. Compensating knowledge workers. Building interpersonal relationships/managing conflict.

The objective of our project is to make observation and conduct interviews of sales representatives and DM of the Pantaloon store, Bhopal and determine their motivation level, training need analysis & team building efforts.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

To study the satisfaction of the employees with regards to their motivational level and team building efforts.

HYPOTHESIS

The study is based on the following hypothesis:1. ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE SATISFIED.2.TRAINING PROVIDED TO THE STAFF IS BEST.

RESEARCH DESIGN

Primary and secondary data are used for the study.

To do the analysis the questionnaire method in sample survey is used. In this, questionnaire was distributed to the respondents and they were asked to answer in this questionnaire. The questions which the questionnaire contained are arranged in a specific order and every question was logical for the study.

SAMPLE SIZE

The sample size taken is 50. The employees of Pantaloons were asked to fill the questionnaire. The age- group of the respondents is between 20-35. Convenient Sampling technique is used i.e. only those employees were approached that were easily accessible.

Headquartered in Mumbai , the company operates over 5 million square feet of retail space, has over 450 stores across 40 cities in India and employs over 18,000 people

The company’s leading formats include Pantaloons, a chain of fashion outlets, Big Bazaar, a uniquely Indian hypermarket chain, Food Bazaar, a supermarket chain, blends the look, touch and feel of Indian bazaars with aspects of modern retail like choice, convenience and quality and Central, a chain of seamless destination malls. Some of its other formats include, Depot, Shoe Factory, Brand Factory, Blue Sky, Fashion Station, all, Top 10, Bazaar and Star and Sitara. The company also operates an online portal, futurebazaar.com.
