The technologies that I have learnt while producing and editing my movie was the development of my skills whilst using IMovie and Windows movie maker. However I did not learn these skills on my own, my group taught me different ways to use Imovie to produce our movie in a professional way. From Imovie I learnt how to cut and crop certain sections from my movie and also how to insert music from garage band to the specific place it needs to be in. Also the most complex technology that I had been taught by my group was blocking and cutting all the sounds out from the background and adding in our own sounds to make our movie more effective.

Nonetheless we also learnt the different ways in which we could mix and match movie clips, we learnt this from a professional media journalist who came into our school and gave us a whole presentation on the different ways we can make our movie look professional. From the visitor who came to our school we were also taught how to stop our movie from being pixalated as we wanted our movie to flow accurately.

Overall the technologies which I had used to produce my movie came from a lot of help from my group and my individual time I got with the macs. With these skills I am now able to produce a movie again but with more knowledge on macs and the different controls used to produce a movie.

Along with the usage of Macs, I have also developed new skills with the technologies of Hardware, such as the tripod, microphone and cameras . My group and I have learnt different ways of using a microphone such as how to higher and lower the pitch so the sounds come out differently. With this skill it helped me try and do a voice over, however we did not end up using it because we did not know how to add it onto the movie clip. Although if I was to do this again I would learn the skills of microphone so we have some dialogue within our opening sequence.

Also within the hardware we have also used different still cameras which gave our clips and scenes affective camera shots.

The last technology which helped me process and construct my finishing product is the usage of the different Internet sites, for example YouTube, Dafont and Blogger.

Firstly DaFont is a website with different styles of writing which can fit into our movie clip to give that extra affect. This will show our creativity to our movie clip.

This shows the different fonts which can be used.

Youtube has also taught me how to upload and edit my videos and movies that I upload.
