Masthead/logo carried through from cover for consistency, professionalism and to show importance.

Page broken down into thirds, following the ‘rule of three’ what is most aesthetically pleasing.

Images add appeal and use anchorage from cover lines. Cover artist featured in the middle to show prominence and importance to the edition.

‘Inside This Month’ is the dominating cover

line; important as it tells the reader it is a

monthly magazine.

Contents are broken down into categories for ease of use to the

reader and professionalism.

‘Subscription’ is broken off on it’s own to draw

attention to it hopefully interesting and gaining

new subscribers.

‘Top 10’ adds interest to the reader, feels like they are getting the

best.

‘FREE’ adds appeal, feels like you’re getting

something more.

Quotes add interest to particular artists, making the reader more intrigued and wanting to read. Colour scheme; consistent from front cover: professional.

‘Ellie Read’ biggest cover line, anchorage to article and is shown ‘big and dominant’ much like I want the artist to be portrayed. Shows importance of the artist.
