Various different

storylines are used to

make the trailer more

interesting.

There are 7 total

Page 10: evaluation

• I started my trailer

with a scene to

immediatly grab the

audiences attention,

the shocking scene of

the car crash.

• As the trailer

continues, we

continue to get

shocking images of

death and conflict

between the

characters.

• I used fast paced

editing all the way

through my trailer

apart from the end

which i slowed right

down in order to make

the audience reflect

on the events.

We used natural lighting to give

our soap a natural look.

The natural lighting also helped

make the soap look realistic.

We did however use the night

effect when editing this was to

make the scene look as though it

is dark and creates a negative

atmosphere.

Page 12: evaluation

The soundtrack i used for my

trailer was a Bullet For My

Valentine song called Say

Goodbye (also called Say

Goodnight).

I chose this song as the lyrics

matched the theme for my

soap opera trailer.

The song reflects some of the

themes covered in my trailer,

including: love, death and

pregnancy.

Page 13: evaluation

(above) In Coronation street

we see a lot of close ups

similarly we wanted to include

these in our trailer, this is an

example of one.

(below) We used two shots in order to

show the relationship between the

two characters, we used this two shot

from coronation street to show us how

we could do this.

We used the E4 style guide to create an

authentic logo and banner for my

poster.
