Coiled Tubing (CT) is the fastest growing segment of the well service industry. CT technology is critical
to achieve the high standard oil field operation. EMEDCO offers CT Services to work over oper-
ation, shallow drill outs of bridge plugs, and extensions into producing zones. After a stimulation treatment, CT can be aimed to blow out the well using nitrogen and elim-inate the need for swabbing. This service speeds up getting into and out of the well
and allows working on wells while the same as other operations. Our CT operators are high-
ly skilled and trained in alive well Services; there-fore we are capable of providing a full range of Ser-
vices related to coiled tubing, from a simple wash to an intricate high-pressure well recovery operation. EMEDCO
support team and engineering staff determine the most effective coiled tubing methods and techniques to achieve superior CT string perfor-mance by utilizing advanced coiled tubing software.

The colorless and odorless gas, Nitrogen, is a non-hy-drocarbon inert gas used for different purposes in drilling, work over, and completion operations in oil and gas wells. Applications of nitrogen both in onshore and offshore include well stimulation, injection, pressure testing, En-hanced Oil Recovery (EOR), reservoir pres-sure maintenance, nitrogen floods, and inert gas lift. Additionally, nitrogen can be used to prevent flammable gases from ig-niting and protect tubulars from downhole corrosion. In drilling operations, nitrogen can be utilized for instrument panel inverting, flare gas entering, and pressure systems purging and testing. Also, nitrogen can be supplied for engine starters, controls, dry bulk transfer and hoisting systems. By providing a dry air supply, nitrogen can extend the life of some sys-tems, as well as prevent breakdowns. In workover and completion op-erations, nitrogen is an optimal choice to be displaced with well fluids in order to initiate flow and clean wells because of its low density and high pressure characteristics. The high-pressure gas is also used for production stimulation through hydraulic fracturing. Also, nitrogen is used for cementing operations and controlling cement slurry weights.

Cementing a well is a procedure of developing and pumping cement into a wellbore. Cement pro-
tects the wellbore, permanently shuts off wa-ter penetration into the well, seals the an-
nulus after a casing has been run into the wellbore, and finally seals lost circulated zones. In directional drilling, cementing may be used to plug an existing well and run a directional well from that point. Also
cementing is used to plug a well to aban-don it. The process of operation is that the
cement slurry is deployed into the well via pumps and drilling fluids are displaced with ce-
ment. The cement slurry flows to the bottom of the wellbore through the casing. It fills the space between
casing and the actual wellbore .This creates a seal as well as permanently positions the casing in place. Special tools, pumps,
and mixers are used, including hydraulic jet mixers, re-circulation mix-ers or batch mixers used to mix dry cement with water to create slurry and pump it down.

The aim of acid injection into a well is creating bet-ter links between formation and well by dissolv-ing the parts of carbonate formation around the wellbore. Hence, productivity of the well will be improved. Consequently with a con-stant drop down pressure, production is increased or in other word, with fixed pro-duction rates, drop down pressure or en-ergy loss is reduced.
Hydrocarbons pass into the well through chan-nels around the wellbore. Blocking of these chan-nels are possible due to presence of materials such as sediment materials in drilling mud Acid can dissolving these materials, open the pores, and create channels for hydrocarbon to pass. In addition, narrow channels become wider and passing of formation fluid will be easier.

Downhole camera Services give a real picture of the wellbore. Allowing scale, perforations or holes in
the tubing to be seen rather than inferred, this technology enables informed decisions to be made on location. Extremely portable Down-hole Video Cameras can be deployed on any mono-conductor cable and transmits up to one picture per second. The award winning View-
Max camera includes a down and side view cam-era enabling a 360 degree view of the wellbore.

Casing running tools is the result of cutting edge engi-neering and field tested standards. It features a com-
pact design, rugged construction, and the versatil-ity to run various pipe sizes and weights without
compromising performance. casing running tools is designed with full string handling ca-pabilities (simultaneously pickup, drill, run, ream, rotate, and reciprocate) for casing run-ning Operations. It decreases the chances of sticking pipe downhole and also has the ability
to fill up and reciprocate the pipe during critical make up or break out procedures. Integrated with
a fail-safe True-Lock design, the casing running tool virtually eliminates the risk of dropping pipe.
The EMEDs technology delivers fully operational high power ultrasonic tools for the stimulation of on- and offshore oil wells. Substantial increases in oil pro-duction have been measured and certified by major national oil companies on- and offshore. The parameters of the ultrasonic radiat-ing systems of downhole tools are calcu-lated, and their optimization is performed. The developed ultrasonic equipment and technology can be offered to oil-producing companies as one of the promising methods for well stimulation and enhanced oil recovery.

Time-Frequency ElectroMagnetic method (TFEM) com-bines frequency-domain sounding with time-do-main sounding to form a comprehensive system so that it is possible to select different frequen-cies and induce waves according to the ob-jective depth to be explored. During process-ing not only resistivity but also polarization information can be provided so we can study resistivity as well as predict oil-bearing charac-teristics simultaneously. Time-domain resistivity information is obtained by pseudo-2D resistivity inversion and frequencydomain IP information is ob-tained using the Cole-Cole model.
Begin production early while full field development is be-ing planned and permanent facilities are being built.
Early-Production Facilities (EPFs) can help operators bring their new discoveries onstream fast.
EPFs and fast-track schedules can help operators create an early cash flow with only a minimum cash outlay. They also provide real-time produc-tion data that can help operators appraise res-ervoir performance before they install more-ex-
pensive long-term facilities. EPFs can be used for small reserves that would be financially risky or
uneconomical to produce with a permanent produc-tion facility.

These facilities have been manufactured and utilized with the objective of preventing environmental pol-lution, avoiding waste of the national assets, as well as enhancing the country’s economic potentials. Our present information indicate that in order to clean the oil wells in different zones of oil fields, the crude oil of more than one hundred oil wells are annually directed to the burning pits. The amount of oil burned in the pits equals to 1,250,000 barrels per year. Compulsory burning of the surplus oil in the pits are done in order to clean the newly drilled oil wells, cleaning the wells after injecting acid, and/or upon repairing the wells.

MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) is the technology to manipulate bottom hole pressure accurately
with specialty surface equipment and per-sonnel, there’re many wells with extreme
narrow windows between loss & formation pressure gradient. Conventional drilling can’t drill through the interval and it costs millions for the operators to cure losses or solve well control issues. We provide
PPD (Precision Pressure Drilling) which is an equipment intensive service. We make
a contract for building a full package of PPD, and we will send our experts to execute field
services in the early stage and also doing technol-ogy transfer to our clients.

One of the principal problems in production oper-ation that operators often face sand production due to failure of reservoir rock around the well-bore under high-velocity fluid flow. In many cases, the sand consists of fines which are not retained by stand-alone screens or gravel packs. The production of sand in-duces several problems such as the deg-radation of surface facilities (valves, pipe, pumping unit,…) and the accumulation of sand in the wellbore. The operators often choke the well and limit its production rate, which, in addition to frequent sand cleaning jobs, affects operational costs. The technology of polymer sand control consists of the formation of a polymeric film on pore walls, which sta-bilizes the rock around the wellbore and thus stop the sand produc-tion. Such a film has to be strong enough to resist wash out by produc-tion fluids under high velocity flow.

Practical Advantages Of Mud Cooling Systems for Drilling
Mud Cooling system is used to reduce the temperature of drilling fluid returned to the surface. This unit is very compact and skid mounted, consists of either a single or dual plate heat exchanger depending on process re-quirements.
Crew safety
Reduction of mud temperature in return lines especially important in oil based systems to be maintained below flash point.
Reduces drilling costs
Reduction of temperature while circulating and drilling helps to maintain rheological properties of the mud and a reduction in the used of additives
Increased wellbore stability, reduction of corrosion of the drill pipe and downhole tools, therefore a reduction of metal debris in the fluid.
less impact on the performance of downhole motors, especially important when drilling near the reservoir in HP/HT wells.
Increased transportation of drilling cuttings back to the surface.
Extends life of elastomer seals on BOP, MWD/LWD tools, riser, shakers, centrifuges and pumps

The systematic evaluation of drilling results is critical for improving drilling decisions. All efforts that can assist in delivering accurate, unbiased and consistent assessment will ultimately enhance PGFK company performance. As a consequence, Post drilling Analysis must be part of the full circle Quality Control process to be applied to the prospect assessment. It is expected that sharing the findings of this post drilling analysis project within the industry will help drilling revival across the oil and gas industry. EMED with partnership with DS carried out post drilling analyses of development wells drilled in Jacket 24-A during 2014-2015 in the South Pars / North Dome is a natural gas condensate field located in the Persian Gulf.
Post Drilling Analysis
Drilling operations included several drilling services which generate their own report styles. Thus, it seems quite important to provide a comprehensive and uniform report that covers all of the recorded data. More-over, integration of these recorded data makes it easier for the management purposes.
The Data Integration and Management on Drilling Operation Project Consists of Provision of Data Integration and Management on Drilling Operation for:
The main objective of this project is development of comprehensive software for integrating and reporting drilling data. This software has two main tasks.
It is used to manage and integrate valuable drilling data, such as mud-logging and geology data recorded during drilling operations.
It is used to generate a thorough report of these recorded data.
