One of problems in Indonesia that always be a primary cause of juvenile delinquency is drug abuse. Drug abuse kill 33 Indonesian daily. Drug abuse also contains the closely related to the narcotics. Indonesia is a big six as narcotics dealers in this world. Narcotics can affect the way your mind and body work. Its tragist for teenagers in our contry, as the gold generation be consumer of narcotics. Because of this risk, goverment forbid the cycle of narcotics selling.Here are many different narcotics with different price and different using which have similar effects but may be manufactured differently or prescribed for different purposes.The most common method of narcotic use include injection, oral ingestion, suppository, or smoked. There are 354 kind of narcotics in this world. For this year, there are 35 kind of narcotics that are already consumed by Indonesias narcotic consumer. Narcotics were the first drugs which used as medicines. Most narcotics, especially painkillers, are in the form of either: tablets, capsules, skin patches, powders, liquids that vary in color from clear to brown or black, and suppositories. Some Narcotic drugs: Alfentanil, cocaine, codeine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, hydromorphone, ice, meperidine, methadone, morphine, nalorphine, opium, oxycodone, propoxyphene. For example cocaine, the prices that are for a kilogram of cocaine which is a 1,000 grams. A gram of cocaine in Indonesia can be purchased for around five million rupiah. So, if theres a kilogram cocaine, price per kilogram is five billion rupiah. It is not a bit of money. The seller can get big profit from this things.Narcotics effects can be mild and cause the person to be sleepy or they can be more severe and lead into fatal situations, such as coma or death. All of these drugs can give you a feeling of relaxation with a rush of energy. They can relieve physical and emotional pain. Narcotics also give you psychological effect. The most common psychological effects of narcotics include: reduced anxiety, reduced tension, and happiness. Additional effects of narcotics are euphoric state that leads to hallucinations or psychosis, dry mouth and dehydration, pinpoint pupils difficulty breathing (labored breathing or slowed breathing), brain disorders or brain damage, diseases such as HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis, infection of the heart or lungs and etc.People give some of the reasons why people use narcotics or drugs. Some reasons are sometimes illogical. Narcotics are taken for their ability to relieve pain, to escape or create relaxation and for their immediate euphoric affect. Drug abuse also causes multiple problems for countries and communities such as friends/familys background which influence consumers (parents, brothers, sisters, uncle, etc), criminal problems (joining the mafia, gangs, underworld drug selling, etc) or medical problems (such as cancer or mental illness that need this drug). They think drugs are solution for lifes problem. The drugs are the truly problem eventually.There are many ways to decrease drug abuse. We have to educate ourselves about narcotics knowledge and whats the impact from it. People need to be told at home, in school and in everywhere about the drugs and look for positive activities. So we can prevent risks from drug abuse. When we have family or friends that get the problem with narcotics, theres no better time than the present to quit using narcotics. Prison is not a best place to make them better so we need to bring them to the rehabilitation place and keep the communication with them, especially their family. Counseling and therapy from psychologist also can help them. We need to take them to come back to our God, Allah SWT so we can make their mind be clear. Last approach is to cut the cycle of narcotics selling. Some narcotic cases dont recognize who will be the victims, maybe a student, doctor, pilot, police and other. Many narcotics are legal but they are only legal when prescribed by a medical doctor and they are used as prescribed. When these drugs are used against the recommendations of the doctor or in an ill manner other than the way that they are prescribed they become illegal controlled substances. So goverment or the police in Indonesia must stretch a point of Drug and Narcotic Law and give a serious punishment to the distributor of narcotics that make drug abuse.In conclusion, theres no one whos perfect in this world. Human is the place of all the wrongness and always do the mistakes. Everyone can be trapped to the drug abuse. Its around us without we realize/know it. We need to be aware about the danger. We need help from other, family, friends, teacher, goverment and so many people to decrease the effects that they can avoid.
