Environmental Education Update and Human Dimensions of Natural Resource Conservation Broadcast Topic: The Urban Wildlife Conservation Program: Looking Back, Moving Forward The Urban Wildlife Conservaon Program was launched in 2013 and formally established in Service policy in 2014. Simply stated, the policy tells us that all Service programs must 1) work to expand their efforts to increase the relevancy of conservaon in urban areas, 2) create more opportunies for people in urban areas to engage in fish and wildlife conservaon, and 3) establish methods for evaluang intended outcomes, and modify pracces to ensure success. During this broadcast, Danielle Ross-Winslow, Delissa Padilla, and Angelina Yost will share notable successes and challenges encountered over the past five years, along with plans for using what we have learned to inform the UWCPs path for the future.
