entered, ticking the category you wish to enter.

Complete the entry form in capital letters using the correct accent marks, where applicable.

Note: all details entered will be reproduced for invoices, results andcertificates.AgileMediatakesno responsibility for errors caused by illegible text made by the entrant, but reserves the right to correct any names and details that it believes to be incorrect.

CIDER CATEGORIES:Sweet Cider – Includes mainstream, contemporary and premium varieties, and can be still or sparkling. Includes French-style keeved cider and New World-style cider made without traditional bittersweet cider apples. Producers should note if a cider is New World-style or keeved.

Medium Cider – Includes mainstream, contemporary and premium varieties, and can be still or sparkling . Includes French-style keeved cider and New World-style cider made without traditional bittersweet cider apples. Producers should note if a cider is New World-style or keeved.

Dry Cider – Includes mainstream, contemporary and premium varieties and can be still or sparkling.

Perry Medium/Sweet – Made primarily from traditional Perry pear varieties and can be still or sparkling.

Perry Dry – Made primarily from traditional Perry pear varieties and can be still or sparkling.

Pear Cider – Pear cider made using culinarypearsoraddedpearflavouringto cider. May also include North American style ‘pyder’ - producers should specify if this is the case. Can be still or sparkling.

Bottle Conditioned/Bottle Fermented Cider – Cider whose primary fermentation completed in the bottle, or a secondary fermentation is started in the bottle by the addition of yeast, sugar etc.

Bottle Conditioned/Bottle Fermented Perry – Perry whose primary fermentation completed in the bottle, or a secondary fermentation is started in the bottle by the addition of yeast, sugar etc.

English Farmhouse-style/Scrumpy – Traditional still cider that has been unfermented and unpasteurised.

Fruit Cider – Products whose primary source of fermentable sugars does not necessarily come from apple juice, and whoseprimaryflavourisderivedfromfruit juices or syrups. Can be still or sparkling.

Flavoured Cider – Cider whose primary source of fermentable sugars comes from apple juice, but features added fruit, spices, hops, honey etc. Can be still or sparkling.

Wood-aged Cider – Cider whose fermentation or conditioning has been completed in barrels designed to impart flavourcharacteristicsfromthewooditself, or from previous barrel contents such as rum, whisky etc. Can be still or sparkling.

Speciality Cider and Cider Variants – Includes pommeau, Canadian-style ice cider/cidre de glace and its derivatives, and any other cider not covered by the above categories. Duestoitsremarkabledifferenceincharacter from other ciders, traditional Spanish-style sidra should also be entered in this category. Producers should indicate the nature of the product. Can be still or sparkling.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS1. The International Cider Challenge 2015 (ICC) is organised by Agile Media Ltd, publishers

of Off Licence News, under licence from William Reed Business Media Ltd. The company address is Agile Media Ltd, Longley House, International Drive , Southgate Avenue, Crawley, West Sussex , RH10 6AQ. UK.

2. By entering the ICC the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and be bound by them. These rules include any instructions set out with the ICC details.

3. Please adhere to the deadlines set out in this form. Late entries may not be accepted. Agile Media accepts no responsibility for any lost, damaged, late or mislaid product or entry. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery.

4. Entries will only be accepted on a fully completed entry form accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. There is no limit to the number of products that may be submitted but each product is a separate entry and subject to a separate entry fee.

5. Any entry form which is incomplete, late or illegible and any product which is late or damaged which does not otherwise comply with these rules, will be deemed invalid.

6. The Organiser reserves the right to move ciders into the appropriate category, if deemed to be incorrectly entered.

7. Products must be securely packaged. The organiser takes no responsibility for products damaged in transit.

8. Products must be in date for consumption on 30th April 2015.9. Entries may be withdrawn any time up to 8th April 2015 in which case the entry fee

will be returned subject to an administration charge of 50%. After this date, entry fees are non refundable.

10. Products will be retained by the Organiser and will not be returned.11. Entrants are responsible for any customs duty, taxes or other costs incurred on products

entering the UK. Should the Organiser incur any liability in connection with excise duties or any other costs these shall forthwith be reimbursed fully by the entrant.

12. The ciders will be blind tasted by an expert and independent panel of judges selected by the organiser. The judges will give the ciders a score according to the aroma, appearance and taste. The score is intended as a guide for judges only in determining which medal should be awarded. Bronze, Silver and Gold medals will be awarded according to a consensus reached by the judging panel. The best of the best will be awarded Trophy medals.

13. The judges’ decision on all matters concerning the competition is final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

14. A list of medalists will appear in Off Licence News, offlicencenews.co.uk and drinksint.com once judging is complete. Product images may also be used. Participants consent to their names and photographs being used in any competition publicity unless otherwise requested in writing.

15. Any award winner may publicise its award provided the year in which it was won is stated. Each award winner will be granted a non-exclusive non transferable licence to use the ICC logo in connection with its award for a period of three years from the date of the award.
