What the Customer notes

Hot fridge.

Problem Root Cause

No perfect sealing on the evaporation ring

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the MAINS SUPPLY before carrying out any work,

other than when undertaking specified observation checks.

Spare Parts to be used

Intervention to be done:

1) The product has been pressurized and internal leakage

was detected (Fig. 1). Leave the capillaries and the

return pipe disconnected from the compressor,

because when the recovery operation of the internal

circuit will be completed, before carrying out the

vacuum and charging, the circuit cleaning should be

performed.

2) Remove the condenser from the appliance by removing

the four screws that secure it (Fig. 2).

Technical Bulletin

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the MAINS

SUPPLY before carrying out any work, other than when

undertaking specified observation checks.

Intervention to be done:

3) At the height of 50 cm from the plinth (starting from above thecompressor, see Fig. 3) and at 15 cm from the left side panel, make an

opening of 10x15cm. Do not cut the plastic panel from all four sides,

but leaving a hooked portion so as to close again as shown in Fig 4.

4) Free the ring from the foam so you can make the repair (Fig. 4)

5) Cut the aluminum tube no more than 2 cm from the ring, and cut the

capillary (Fig. 5 and Fig. 6)

6) Pull down with a pliers the capillary so as to approach the latter to the

aluminum tube to do the repair (Fig. 7).

Technical Bulletin

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the MAINS SUPPLY before carrying out any work,

other than when undertaking specified observation checks.

Intervention to be done:

7) You can perform the leakage repair in two ways:

• with welding: insert the capillary inside the aluminum tube for

a maximum of 2 cm (Fig. 8 and Fig 9). Put a protective plate

behind the point to be welded to avoid causing damage to the

appliance (Fig. 10). Perform welding between copper and

aluminum using the alloy C00143875 (Fig. 11 e Fig. 12).

Technical Bulletin

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the MAINS SUPPLY before carrying out any work,

other than when undertaking specified observation checks.

Intervention to be done:

• with lokring: put glue on both ends of the pipes and place the

lokring paying attention to align the same with the two pipes

to be connected. Clamp the connector (Fig. 13 and Fig. 14).

8) To reduce the noise produced during operation, noise due to the

expansion of the gas, you can apply soundproof material (C00306744

- TEROSTAT 82) to the weld or to the lokring ring as shown in Figure

15. Place the pipes back into the appliance.

9) To insulate the parts where the insulating material was removed, use

the foam caring to counteract the expansion of the polyurethane

foam, using properly secured jigs (made of cardboard, wood, etc.).

This contributes to a better density of the foam, as well as to avoid

that any foam leak may soil the cabinet (Fig. 13).

10) Apply some silicon to let the plastic panel previously opened adhere

well and close properly securing it with tape.

11) Replace the filter then weld it again

12) Reposition the condenser; do an empty and recharge of the product.
