Basketball $125 K-2 The Love the Ball basketball academy will take your game to the next level. All players will have a basketball at all times which will drastically improve their fundamentals while we play games like king of the court, knockout and farmers and foxes. Advanced skills will also be taught like free throw shooting, crossovers and much more.

Cheerleading $135 K-5 Ready? Set?! Cheer! Have you ever wanted to learn the cheers you hear at your favorite team's football or basketball games? Do you love showing school spirit? Then this is the class for you! Cheer your school on to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y while learning all the basics of this sport including motions, jumps, chants and cheers, and foundations for basic stunting and tumbling when appropriate. Cheers are customized to the school so they can be carried over throughout the year at school events! Build on strength flexibility, balance, and overall athleticism while doing activities that build self esteem and teamwork! Students will showcase what they have learned at an end of session in class "pep rally" for parents!

Mazes & Monsters $202 2-5 Children in grades 2 to 5 learn to create stories, games, and animations using a visual programming language called Scratch. Design your own arcade-style games in this fun club. Using Scratch 3 digital tools, create your own racing games, chase games and classic arcade games like pong, tank, and snake! Use the Silver Knights Curriculum to learn how to code and then take your game to the next level with avatars, scores, health points, intros, and outros! Game on!

Tippi Jam $176 PK3-4 Tippi Jam by Tippi Toes® Join Tippi Toes® for a high-energy dance class designed to keep boys and girls engaged in continual motion from the first step to the last beat. Our positive, upbeat classes are based on original, imaginative, and FUN music which has hit the Billboard charts! This class allows children PK3-4 to exercise their bodies, imaginations and singing voices while getting a wonderful introduction to dance! All students receive a Tippi Toes t-shirt and have the opportunity to participate in our Winter & Spring recitals (Dec & Jun) for an additional participation fee outside of tuition. Participation in recitals is optional but it is a fantastic confidence-building opportunity and fun for the whole family.

Fitness 4 Kids $125 K-2 Love the Ball: Fitness 4 Kids: Love the Ball's Fitness 4 Kids curriculum is based circuit training programs designed to encourage physical activity, enhance athletic performance and mental toughness. This will improve overall fitness and help when applied to playing other sports. Students will rotate between exercise stations that target and improve each performance skills; coordination, flexibility, balance, strength, speed, and endurance. Exercises are modified to suit a variety of fitness levels, abilities and ages.

Hip Hop Dance $135 K-5 Message In Motion: Hip Hop Dance: Do you love to dance in the back of the car, or attempt breakdancing in the kitchen? Then this may be the class for you! In this high-energy class, students learn hip hop dance basics including breakdancing, freezes, and tutting, as well as iconic hip hop movements including the moon walk, the cabbage patch, the snake, and more! Emphasis on style, contemporary choreography, movement vocabulary, basic strengthening and conditioning, rhythm, personal expression, and having fun! Students present what they've learned at an end of session in class parent showcase!

Video Game Dev. $202 3-6 Video Game Development Do you play games and wonder how they are created? Would you like to build your own computer programs? Come learn how at the Coding with Kids Academy! In this fun after-school class, you will be introduced to the core concepts of computer programming, including loops, conditionals and variables. Using the Scratch development environment, you will learn how to create your own programs, such as simple games, animations, and interactive stories. With new projects each session, you will be able to express your creativity and advance as a coder! Our progressive curriculum will allow you to move to the next level after just 1-2 sessions. Building Minecraft mods is a great way to learn programming, harness creativity, and enhance problem-solving skills while making your favorite game even better.Each student will get to run their own Minecraft server where they can customize the game with their own world maps and features. Students will design custom textures, build amazing structures, give their players new abilities, and depending on experience even create their own mini-games all while learning Linux and programming JavaScript. Have a great idea or solution to a problem? Turn your idea or solution into a business, make money and grow it big! During My First Business young entrepreneurs use brainstorming to identify a business idea from a passion, hobby, interest or problem. Young entrepreneurs will explore how to use design thinking to visualize the idea as a thriving, profitable business. From designing a logo to creating a marketing plan to develop a financial plan, we will guide our students on learning the basics in starting a business, while incorporating social responsibility concepts.My First Business highlights successful young people who have started and grown multi-million dollar businesses, explores basic business concepts, and is designed to introduce young entrepreneurs interested in making money or starting a socially conscious venture the first step toward creating a viable business. Young entrepreneurs will receive a workbook they will update each week and keep at the end of the session. Program participants will be eligible to participate in a vendor opportunity, such as the Tenley Winter Market - http://www.tenleywinterfest.org/winter-market/, to sell products or promote a service-related business. Families will also be invited to a “Pitch Party” on the last day of the program.KV Educational Concepts believes life and career skills should be introduced early and reinforced often to prepare children to navigate successfully in the global environment. Our project-based learning creates a living, hands-on workshop where children develop critical skills for personal, academic and career success.

Ballet / Tap $135 K-5 Message In Motion: Ballet /Tap: For all young princes and princesses! Let your child's inner royalty and grace shine as they learn to chassé and pirouette their way across the floor to classic ballet music like The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and more. Students will learn ballet basics including barre work and center technique while using props, role playing, and imagination to aid in personal expression and creativity. Half way through class we'll switch it up and students will put on their tap shoes and learn tap basics including tap terminology, rhythm, technique, and more. Learn what funky names like "Flap", "Shuffle", and "Ball Change" mean in the tap world! Students will showcase what they have learned at an end of session in class parent presentation where they will present 1-2 learned routines, other material they have learned throughout the session, and be presented with a certificate!

Pop Stars $176 K-2 Pop Stars by Tippi Toes®Get ready to turn your classroom into a stage and dance like your favorite pop stars! In this high energy, age-appropriate class, students K-2 will learn popular jazz techniques including turns, jumps and kicks that they see their favorite pop stars doing! Teachers will play popular music from recent children’s movies and soundtracks to encourage students to sing along while they dance. All students receive a Tippi Toes t-shirt and have the opportunity to participate in our Winter & Spring recitals (Dec & Jun) for an additional participation fee outside of tuition (Dec: $45 & Jun: $70). Chess Club $133 3-5 Chess club is taught by experienced Silver Knights instructors using a curriculum developed by National Masters. Each weekly session is a mix of learning and play. Playing chess is a great way to develop a child’s critical thinking skills, sportsmanship, and patience — all while having fun!

Little Coders $202 K-2 Little Coders Get them started early! The Little Coders class provides young students with the basics of computational thinking skills, such as loops and conditionals, through a fun blend of hands-on activities. The curriculum is built specifically for this age group, with a mix of activities from coding puzzles and board games to easy-to-use, drag-and-drop programming tools. Projects are updated each session, so returning students will have new challenges to work through and advance their knowledge.

Power Tots $144 PK3-4 Power Tots brings gymnastics right into your school! We lead fun, safe, and non-competitive movement classes for children ages 12 months to 12 years. LEGO BusyBots $202 K-2 In the Lego BusyBots unit, students will examine bots that are taking care of business. Most robots are designed to do a job and the bots in this unit all have work to do! Build a machine to test how earthquake-proof a structure is; build a paper shredder and even a dancing bot for when you need a break from work!

Ozobots $202 K-2 Robotics for Little Coders Robotics for Little Coders with Ozobot is an opportunity for young children to develop their computational thinking skills, build their first programs, and have fun with new friends! Ozobot's programming is designed specifically for early readers, taking into account the cognitive abilities and typical attention span of children ages 5-7. Students are introduced to basic coding concepts with simple tasks, such as customizing their Ozobot and assigning commands through different colors, then build up to more complex tasks with Ozobot's simple drag-and-drop language

Piano $230 K-2 This is a group piano class that studies hands-on piano and music theory. In this class, your child will work closely with the teacher to follow a carefully planned sequence that guarantees FUN and success in a playful group atmosphere! The instructor will teach how to count rhythm, identify notes, and play common melodies on the piano. Once a student is ready to advance, Book 2 and 3 will be offered. Students will be introduced to notes on the staff and will learn how to play songs in C position, Middle C and G Position. The last class of each session will wrap up with a recital and piano party for family and friends! We offer excellent student/teacher ratio.“Teaching Sound Fundamentals”

ELAMath

Parents are highly encouraged to sit in the tutoring sessions. The small group lessons provide plenty of attention from the tutor but also provide a forum where students can challenge and

learn from each other. Students will be provided a copy of the textbook and a test booklet. Books are provided via the library.

Parents enrolling their child in this program should first and foremost see marked increases in the End-of-Year assessments and higher PARCC scores.

Parents will get frequent reports on progress and things to do at home to accelerate learning.

Tutoring price for the 8-weeks is $207.Scholarships are available.
