DESCRIPTION

ENMAT Meter Reading Entry Software allows customers’ meter readings to be entered into the ENMAT Energy Management System. Users can manually enter Actual, Customer or Estimated meter readings for electricity or gas supplies. The kWh usage is then reported on with Enmat Energy dashboards, charts and graphs allowing the user to see energy usage in a similar way to an Automatic Meter Read (AMR) in ENMAT from a smart meter. ENMAT uses the same dashboard interfaces for manual meter reads as with AMR’s for simplicity. Energy related data can also be accessed through a number of ENMAT Apps including Android and IOS The ENMAT Meter Reading Entry Service is an affordable way to manage periodic meter readings and energy billing. Overview• Mechanism to input consumption data into the system for non-automatic meters.

• Data can be pulled upon in various formats via the ‘charts’ feature.

• Provides auditable data records for the CRC.

• Data and information can be viewed by selecting the ‘Manual Readings’ icon:

Page 5: Enmat meter reading entry software and document library

Manual Readings IndexHow is information added?• Directly from copy invoices.

• One set of information per each set of meter readings on an invoice.

The reasons for entering data in this way are…

Page 6: Enmat meter reading entry software and document library

Manual Readings Index1) Facilitate the assessment of ‘actual’ and ‘estimated’ supplies at the end of a CRC

reporting year.

2) Maximise data accuracy.

The system uses a pro rata calculation to estimate the consumption per day. The greater number of readings available, the greater the accuracy of the data.

3) Allow flexibility for re-bills.

It is possible that a bill will be credited back for only one set of readings in an invoice.

What information is added?

• Invoice date: Date that the invoice was issued• Reference: Invoice number• Start / End dates: Consumption dates covered by the invoice• Meter: Either MPAN or MPR• Open / Close:

- Dates: Open and close dates of readings- Readings: Readings recorded for the open and close dates - Units: (e.g. m3, f3, kWh).- Estimated or actual: Shows whether a reading is estimated or actual

• Cost: Total cost minus VAT. Apportioned to kWh consumption where split• Consumption: kWh consumption between open and close dates• Type: Used when there are more than one reading per meter (e.g. day / night)• Preceded / Superseded: If an invoice is a re-bill it will be marked as ‘Preceded’. There is an

option to show all original invoices that have been Superseded by selecting the ‘Select All’ icon:

• Document: Downloadable version of the invoice which the information has been taken from• Related: Any related documents, e.g. a credit note for a superseded invoice• Details: Summary of entry, explanatory notes, details of who made the entry

Document LibraryOverview• Allows quick and easy access of copy invoices, credit notes, and re-bills.

• Associated specifically with a site.

• Shows any invoices attached via the Manual Index Readings feature.

• Invoices can also be added without any associated information or data (e.g. for automatic meters).

• Can be accessed by selecting the Document Library icon:

Using the Data• Consumption data from non-automatic meters can now be retrieved along with data from

automatic meters (I.e. HH and AMR).

• Data can be displayed in charts, gauges, and tables using the ‘charts’ feature.

• Charts can be accessed using the ‘charts’ icon:

• If a chart is displayed as this means that particular chart is not applicable.

• Data can be filtered by:- Period: Date range- Commodity: Gas or electricity or both- Supply: Meter, franchise, site, company- Frequency: Hourly (HH supplies only), daily, monthly, yearly- Chart type: E.g. consumption, area, CO2

• Shows kWh consumption over a specified time.

• Separates different energy types by colour andalso by day and night as defined in either thetariff, or manual entry.

E.g. 1: Total gas consumption for a site, for a month, split by days.

- Period: January 2013

- Commodity: Gas

- Supply: site1

- Frequency: Daily

Consumption between 01/01/2013 – 28/01/2013 = 40,876 kWhDays between 01/01/2013 – 28/01/2013 = 27Consumption per day = 40,876 kWh / 27 daysConsumption per day = 1,513.9 kWh Consumption between 28/01/2013 – 01/02/2013 = 6,824 kWh

Days between 28/01/2013 – 01/02/2013 = 4Consumption per day = 6,824 kWh / 4 daysConsumption per day = 1,706 kWh

A report is also available which can be downloaded and either saved or printed.

Once a full two year’s worth of data is available, the system will compare one year’s total CO2 with the CO2 for the same dates in the previous year. The difference from the previous year will be displayed in a colour-coded gauge:

Red: 0 % and underAmber: 0 – 9 % and overGreen: 10 % and over
