Clinic Statistics• 88 Clinics in 33 Counties

• 17 Community Clinics• 10 Free Clinics• 9 Family Medicine Residency Clinics• 52 Certified Rural Health Clinics

• In 2011the CSNCs served approximately 130,000 unduplicated patients and provided some 350,00 visits. The RHCs served an estimated 175,000 rural Coloradans.

Challenges and Opportunities

• Assist clinics with business planning and revenue modeling given expansion of Medicaid and potential commercial insurance coverage for % of clinic patients in 2014 that qualify and may buy coverage through health benefit (insurance) exchange.

• Support clinics with Board education and orientation to health care environment realities.

• Enable standard data collection and tracking from all clinics.

• Gain recognition within Colorado and at a federal level for the diversity of safety net clinic types.

• Diversify ClinicNET funding.
