The syringe was twisted on and off with normal hand torque. One drop of Glo Germ TM was applied on the top of each connector. The connector remained upright with the Glow Germ TM drop for 1 minute. After 1 minute elapsed each valve was laid on its side for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes each connector was cleaned with 70% IPA swab. The 70% IPA was applied with standard hospital disinfection procedure (circular motion, 3 times over the top).
