John: Hi Ana! How are you?

Ana: a bit tired. I like your room!

John: thanks. I love my desk, but I hate all those boring books.

Ana: really? Why?

John: I wanna be a Vet and I only enjoy reading nature or science books. I don’t like

literature or philosophy.

Ana: I love animals, too. I have a parrot called Paco and some hamsters at home.

John: hamsters? How disgusting! I don’t like hamsters at all.

Ana: they are very sweet, I like them very much. Do you like music, John?

John: of course: I collect records. This one is my granny’s.

Ana: amazing! Does she like music, too?

John: yes. My granny, Helen, loves listening to her Elvis’ records

Ana: does she live alone?

John: yes, she does, since granpa died but she is very active woman. My granny likes

sports, knitting and traveling.

Ana: what’s your favorite band John?

John: Bon Jovi and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. And yours?

Ana: I’m crazy about U2 but I hate Bon Jovi, I’m sorry.

John: no big deal! U2 is playing here this summer. If you want I can book two tickets and

we can go together!. I enjoy concerts a lot.

Ana: oh, yes, that’s a brilliant idea! What are your hobbies John?

John: I like playing basketball, reading and watching TV.

Ana: I love sports, too. I go to the gym four times a week and I swim a lot in summer. What

are you doing now?

John: well, I am finishing my homework now. Thanks for your present Ana, this pencil

case is great. New pencils, pens…I love it.

Ana: you’re welcome! I hate unpacking but I must go now…

John: do you feel like reading some magazines perhaps?

Ana: oh! Yes. Pop magazines, please. I will read them fast…

John: no hurry, Ana. Nice talking to you.

Ana: see you later, John.
