the bicycle is a beautiful thing

Seven days a week I ride my bicycle, and I respect every ride and every piece of the bicycle independently. Without each piece, the bicycle is worthless. Each piece separately is worthless. They must all work together to create a successful machine. Each piece, however, maintains beauty within itself. None of the pieces should be left out, for they are all equally important. Similarly, each part of a bicycle ride must be regarded as independent. Not unlike the bicycle itself, any part of the bike ride that is left out makes the ride less fun and entertaining. It is the accumulation of all parts of a bicycle and all phases of a bike ride that entertaining. It is the accumulation of all parts of a bicycle and all phases of a bike ride that make the experience of riding a bike simply one that is unlike any other.

The crankset uses a chain which feeds the rider’s energy to the rear wheel, where the final gear cluster is found. Known as the cassette, it features between 150-200 teeth that help the rider select a proper gear. Another beautiful part of the bike, it uses five to eleven concentric gears all placed together to let the rider choose the desired gear. Each of these five to rider choose the desired gear. Each of these five to eleven gears are all elegant in their own regard, when viewed without the other rings. Once again, the gears by themselves are nearly useless unless they are pairedwith the rest of the gear cluster. As previously stated, the gear cluster is useless without the chain and crankset. The slowly increasing number of teeth on the cassette’s gears, when viewed from the outside he cassette’s gears, when viewed from the outside looking inward, create a simple but visually appealing cone shape that greatly adds to the aesthetical pleasure of the bike itself.

A pink brake pad brings the bicycle to a stop...

Brakes on a bicycle cause breaks. Perhaps the best part of a bike ride is taking a break. Enjoying the scenery or just enjoying the break from the fast paced excursion of cycling, stopping to rest is a greatpart of a bike ride. As the rider’s heart rate begins to drop, the sweat continues to pour. Stopping for too long means that the rider may lose the momentum long means that the rider may lose the momentum and intensity that made the ride successful. Stop for too short of a time, and the rider may risk not resting enough to power through the rest of the ride. In any case, bringing a bike to a stop is a result of the brakes on a bicycle, and they do a great job of doing so.Losing the momentum of the two massive gyroscopes attached to your body may be gyroscopes attached to your body may be disheartening, but the reward of a break from the monotony of creating circles with your legs is usuallyworth it.
