FACULTY- PARENT INTERACTION:
The experts have been polled and the results are in: “a posi�ve faculty-parent rela�onship contributes to success
of student career”. Teacher is the second most important person in student life (a�er her parents, of course). By
iden�fying this importance, we take a step to minimize the faculty-parent gap by conduc�ng Parent Meet in
academic year 2016-17.This parent meet has been conducted in chief presence of Prof. V. V. Giri, Principal- Sanjay
Ghodawat Polytechnic, A�gre, and Head of all Department in Seminar Hall 'C' Building. During this parent meet
parents were made aware about all the ac�vi�es that will be conducted in academic year 2016-17. Also, we
furnished progress report of individual ward to respec�ve parent.
CELEBRATION OF 4TH FOUNDATION DAY
Founda�on Day celebrates our past-for what we did, Present-for what we are and our future-for we are
going to be. We're proud of our alumni, present students, staff and our community. It is our immense pleasure th rd th
to celebrate 4 Founda�on Day of Sanjay Ghodawat Polytechnic, A�gre on 23 and 24 August 2016.
On the occasion of founda�on day, department level events, Blood Dona�on Camp has been organize on rd
23 August 2016. Mr. Sachin Itkar, superior advisor-strategic foresight group was invited as a chief guest for this
func�on. He shared his own experience about social and educa�onal life and guided through valuable advice.
Winner of different events organized on behalf of this day and toppers of academic performance were awarded thby hands of chief guest on 24 August 2016.Also various cultural ac�vi�es were performed by the students of SGP.

Na�onal Level Project Compe��on, Paper Presenta�on, Robo-Race, and Circuit Designing held nearby colleges.
Many of student from SYEJ and TYEJ a�ended workshop on SAP training, Two Day Workshop On Infinite Engineering,
Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp, One day Workshop Intellectual Property Rights and Four days Training program
on PLC –SCADA. Also student from TYEJ completed in plant training at various industries in period of May-June 2016.

To keep upda�ng of knowledge faculty of Electronics and telecommunica�on department is deputed
every year for various training ac�vi�es and workshop. This helps them to enhance their content
knowledge. In academic year 2016-17 following faculty has been deputed for training programs:

Under Skill India Program ini�ated by central government, the Department of Electronics and Telecom-
munica�on Engineering has been started a short dura�on course of Mobile repairing and Maintenance.
Especially this program is designed to encourage key-skill and entrepreneurship quality in student.

Department of Electronics and telecommunica�on has made remarkable mark in recruitment of student in various
campus drive. The Training and Placement cell at Sanjay Ghodawat Polytechnic deserves kudos in providing the
