Art students celebrated Earth Day by recycling water bottles to
create 3 hanging chandeliers. Artist, Dale Chihuly, and his
colorful, organic, hand blown glass pieces inspired students.
Students worked together to paint over 350 water bottles, cut
them into spirals, and attach them to a wire armature following a
specific color scheme. It was a challenging, but very rewarding
project for all involved. This creation proves that one man’s trash
can indeed be another man’s treasure.

will be permitted to pick up their schedule of classes or begin school.
If your child has not already received the vaccine, please contact your physician or the Florida Department of
Health in Walton County to obtain the immunization. The Tdap immunization for 7th grade student is administered
at no cost through the health department.
For more information, the Florida immunization requirements are found in the Immunization Guidelines for
Florida Schools, Childcare Facilities, and Family Daycare Homes, which is incorporated by reference in Rule 64D-
3.046, Florida Administrative Code. You may also visit http://www.immunizeflorida.org
