When the start signal is removed the timingcycle begins. The output contacts will return to their shelf stateonce the time delay is completed. Reset will occur when a resetsignal is applied or power is removed.• The start signal must be maintained until the timing cycle

begins• If the start signal is reapplied after the timing cycle has

begun, the time delay resets and will not begin until the startsignal is removed

Flashing Started by Pause, Pulse Controlled) (FL).Input power must be applied continuously.When a start signal is applied the „off timing cycle“ begins, butthe output contacts remain in the shelf state. When the time delayis completed the output contacts change state and the next „ontiming cycle“ begins. When this time delay is completed the out-put contacts return to their shelf state. This sequence will repeatuntil a reset signal is applied or power is removed.• The start signal can be either momentary or maintained• Reapplying a start signal during the timing cycle will have no

effect on the time delay

Type HRMOn-delay, 2 C/OWhen power is applied the output contacts change state and thetiming cycle begins. The timed out contacts change state afterthe time delay is completed. All contacts will return to their shelfstate when power is removed.

Type HRCOn-delay 2 C/O, 1 of it is an instantaneous contactWhen power is applied the instantaneous output contactschange state and the timing cycle begins. The timed out contactschange state after the time delay is completed. All contacts willreturn to their shelf state when power is removed.

Note- If the output contact S - bridged, the timing cycle begins

when supply voltage is applied (exception: Off-Delay (SF)

- Closing the interrupting signal G - stops the time cycle forthe time until the interruption signal G is opened again

1 On-DelayAfter connection of the input voltage (A1/A2) the relay picks up after a delay of t.

On EnergisationAfter connection of the input voltage (A1/A2), the relay is in working condition for the duration of t. Distribution voltage has to be kept longer than the preset time t to fulfill this action completely. That‘s why this function can also be used to shorten pulse duration.

Flashing Started by ImpulseAfter connection of the input voltage (A1/A2), the relay is in working condition for the duration of t1. After t1 the relay is set to quiescent condition for a period of t2. This is subsequently followed by further cycles until cutting off the supply voltage.t1 = t2 = 50% of t

Off-delayWhen closing the control contact at the terminals B1 the relay picks up. It is released after opening the control contact with a delay of t. Minimum duration for the control pulse is 25 ms.If the control contact B1 is closed again before delay time t, the expired duration is can-celled and restarts from 0 at reopening.

Pulse ConverterThe distribution voltage(A1/A2) must be applied continuously. When closing the control contact at the terminals B1 the relay is in working condition for the duration of t. The period of t is independent of the control pulse duration. Minimum duration of the control pulse is 25 ms.The control contact B1 can be switched any way during time t.A further cycle can only be started, after the current one is completed.That‘s why this function can also be used to shorten pulse duration.

On De-energisationAfter opening the control contact at the terminals B1 the relay is in working condition for the duration of t. Minimum duration of control signal: 25 ms. Until period t has elapsed completely reopening the control contact has no effect. That‘s why this func-tion also can be used to prolong a break.
