AUTOMOTIVE Elastollan meets stringent requirements for the automotive industry. Whether in terms of Aesthetics, Performance, or Function, it should help enhance driving pleasure
Automotive interiors with Elastollan surfaces stimulates the senses, Conveying the designer’s message, achieving perfection be it luxury or sophistication. These interiors has the right touch, looks like work of art yet tough enough to withstand the weathering, not to mention cosmetics, fingernails and just about everything a kid or an adult might do in car.
NVH components, have to perform consistently under dynamic load. Oil and Ozone resistance , coupled with high tear strength, low compression set makes Elastollan one of the better substitutions for rubber.

From the tiny, millimeter sized, high precision transmission cogs of a power drill or lengths of pneumatic tubes, transmission belts, conveying belts. The engineering application possibilities for Elastollan® are virtually unlimited, all these applications have one important requirement - Strong resistance to Wear & Tear.
Elastollan is resistant to a wide variety of industrial oils and grease, alkali and acids, and just about every type of industrial chemicals. It resistance to microbes, safe contact with foodstuff and potable water m akes it a suitable material for all seasons.
Elastollan can be combined with various engineering plastics to create new possibilities for new products.
Handles, for example for power tools, are given a better feel and become less easily soiled, with soft, scratchproof coverings of Elastollan.
