Member Registration 1.1 eKENCANA online printing service only limited to Malaysian citizen only. Applicant who interested to become eKENCANA member has to be aged 18 and above. However, approval of membership is subject to the discretion of the Management of eKENCANA. 1.2 The management of eKENCANA has the right to decline any individual Member status or to terminate a Member's membership at its discretion without prejudice. 1.3 Individuals who wish to join eKENCANA as a Member must first complete the online registration form provided in eKencana website. 1.4 Member who are GST compliance member shall be responsible in providing necessary GST details (such as company name, company address, GST register number). 1.5 Member may download Percetakan Kencana Sdn Bhd’s GST details from the website. 1.6 Members may terminate their membership at any time, and the balance, in their account (witht the minimum of RM5) will be refunded within 10 working days. Any amounting RM5.00 or less will not be made. As proof, all requests for termination of membership must be in writing and mailed to eKENCANA ([email protected]). Amount less than RM5 will be use as the termination fees. 2. Placing Order 2.1 All orders must be submitted online through our website. eKencana provides printing services to its Members only. 2.2 eKENCANA does not accept direct order(s) from Members' customers, Member are shall to take full responsibllity on their own account activities (such as placing order, uploading artwork or making payment). 2.3 eKENCANA Members are solely responsible for their own customers including any transaction such as payment collection. 2.4 eKENCANA reserves the right to reject any order that does not comply with the standard product specifications for output set by eKencana as stated in eKencana website. Member requested to contact eKENCANA staff for job that required special specification. 2.5 Once you submit an order and made payment to eKencana, it is considered the final artwork and a purchase. An order that in the process stage, it cannot be cancelled or changed. 2.6 If Member is required to amend and resend artwork file to eKencana after submitted an order, Member must immediately contact eKENCANA staff by phone call within 1 hour and a “Pending” Status will issue on that order. Member requested to uploaded new artwork within 7 working days after “Pending” status is given by eKencana. Or else the order will be considered null and void and the order amount will be credited back into that Member’s Account. eKencana will not refund or redo the job once “Processing” status is issued to the job. 2.7 eKENCANA will only provide colour proofing or proofreading services by special request. Colour proof and proofreading will subject to extra charges. 2.8 eKENCANA does not provide hardcopy of official receipts for purchases. Members can print out the official receipts for their completed orders from the“Track Order” page (My Account / My Order /Track Order) in the Member’s Account Web Page. 2.9 eKENCANA Member Account is updated daily and Members can trace and print the statement of account from the Member’s Page. 2.10 Members are required to make advance payment in their account to make an order. Order will not be processed if printing fee due exceeds the available funds in Member's account. Should this happen, Member is required to top-up (reload) / cash advance payment in order to proceed with the order. 2.11 eKENCANA shall take legal action to prosecute any Member whom we suspect of making fraud deposits/payments to us. We shall also terminate that member’s membership and bar him/her from further use of our services 3. 1. Member Registration

1.1 eKENCANA online printing service only limited to Malaysian citizen only. Applicant who interested to become eKENCANA member has to be aged 18 and above. However, approval of membership is subject to the discretion of the Management of eKENCANA.

1.2 The management of eKENCANA has the right to decline any individual Member status or to terminate a Member's membership at its discretion without prejudice.

1.3 Individuals who wish to join eKENCANA as a Member must first complete the online registration form provided in eKencana website.

1.4 Member who are GST compliance member shall be responsible in providing necessary GST details (such as company name, company address, GST register number).

1.5 Member may download Percetakan Kencana Sdn Bhd’s GST details from the website.

1.6 Members may terminate their membership at any time, and the balance, in their account (witht the minimum of RM5) will be refunded within 10 working days. Any amounting RM5.00 or less will not be made. As proof, all requests for termination of membership must be in writing and mailed to eKENCANA ([email protected]). Amount less than RM5 will be use as the termination fees.

2. Placing Order

3.2 Cash Advance Top-Up methods:(i) CASH bank-in or deposit to Percetakan Kencana Sdn Bhd bank account at Public Bank Berhad: 3107101803{ii) CHEQUE made payable to Percetakan Kencana Sdn Bhd and deposited into Public bank account at 3107101803.(iii) INTERBANK FUNDS TRANSFER to PPublic Bank Berhad: 3107101803

3.3 Minimum cash advance to top-up: RM10

3.4.For top-ups using cash or cheque deposit or interbank funds transfer, Members are required to save/take a photo of the receipt/statement as jpeg file and upload it to us via your Account Web Page or fax it to eKencana along with the bank-in receipt/statement as proof of deposit.

3.5 eKENCANA will only update top-up amouny in Member’s account once the payment is clear by the bank.

3.6 eKENCANA does not provide a receipt for your Cash Advance Top-Up/Deposit. If you require a statement of proof for your Cash Advance Top-Up/Deposit, you can print a Top-Up Confirmation Slip from your Account Web Page.

3.7 As of 1 April 2015, the Official Receipt will be replaced by the Tax Invoice. The Tax Invoice shall be issued after the shipment of your goods.

3.8 Inactive account for more than 2 years from the last transaction:- Member's account balance RM5 and below will be forfeited automatically.

3.9 RM10 and above in an eKENCANA Member Account is refundable upon termination of membership by either party. As proof, all requests for termination of membership by either party must be in writing.

4. Pricing and Delivery

4.1 Services, products and pricing are subject to change from time to time.

4.2 All prices shown on our website are INCLUSIVE OF GST.

4.3 Reprint job will be charged at the same price.

4.4 All goods are delivered to Members by eKENCANA's appointed courier service company.

4.5 eKENCANA will not liaise with any customer on Member's behalf.

4.6 eKENCANA will not entertain any requests for rushed deliveries. For special arrangements, Members are required to write in or call Customer Service with their enquiry before placing an order

4.7 Delivery Prices charged is based on where Member ships the goods to. Member must provide and fill up the correct delivery address to avoid extra charges on delivery fee.

4.8 Date Send begins when the print job is completed and shipped with appointed courier company.

4.9 Member can track their parcel through the courier company website. Consignment note will be given after the parcel is shipped. Delivery date is exclude off days, weekends and public holidays observed in your state.

4.10 Goods delivered to eKencana Members are packed according to eKENCANA’s standard packing and with printed samples attached on the outside. Once goods have left our premises, they are no longer the responsibility of eKENCANA. If there are any discrepancies in the print quality or quantity of goods, Members are advised to call the eKENCANA to lodge a complaint.

5. Artwork File Submittion5.1 All artworks should be saved in PDF or Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Indesign format. Please save your job into individual files and according to each order.

5.2 All artworks must be sent to eKencana through our website or by email. Member may download artwork guideline or check the specifications from our website to learn how to prepare file for uploading.

5.3 Due to the different colour displays on various monitors, printed colour of end product may differ from what appears on screen. Therefore eKencana will not be responsible for colour discrepancies in the end product.

5.4 While we do not guarantee exact colour match of your artwork or reprints, we endeavour to minimize colour inconsistency during printing.

5.5 Members are advised to check that their artworks comply with all eKencana standard specifications, setting and format. Members are also advised to upload their PDF/artwork file for inspection by eKencna’s staff which comes embedded in the artwork uploading module to ensure compliance with our selected PDF quality specifications.

5.6 Please make sure the following requirement is met before uploading your artwork:i) Create Outline for all text / fontsii) Embeded pictureiii) 300 dpi for picture resolutioniv) Artwork in CMYKv) No overprint applied on colour object beside black colourvi) Correct artwork sizevii) Bleeding

5.7 Our artwork checking process cannot be considered as the final stage of artwork file checking and eKENCANA is not taking responsible for any artwork error.

5.8 eKENCANA cannot be held liable for any consequences in the event an artwork error goes undetected.

5.9 All artwork files that have been checked by eKENCANA’s staff will be stored on the eKencana server for a maximum of 72 hours. eKENCANA will remove artwork file from server if the payment is not made by Member for the job.

5.10 Members are required to make the necessary corrections to the errors on their artwork file as reported by eKENCANA. eKENCANA will not assist Member to amend or correct the artwork.

5.11 In the event eKENCANA detects that Member’s submitted artwork for printing does not comply with eKENCANA artwork setting standards. Member’s order status will be in the “Pending” list, which means the job is on hold until correction is made by the Member. eKENCANA will inform Member of the problem via email within 3 hours after receiving order. Orders that are submitted after the cut-off time will only be screened the following working day, and if a problem is detected, pending notice will be forwarded to Member.

5.12 Member who received the “Pending” notice, is required to resend artwork through email, CD or third party file hosting eg: sendspace, yousen-dit, wetranfer & etc.. Member is given a grace period of 7 days from receiving job pending notice to correct and complete the order. Delivery date of order will postpone after correction is made and amended artwork is received by eKENCANA.

5.13 If there is no response or no correction is made by Member within 14 working days after Member receives pending notice, eKENCANA will not proceed and the order will be void. The order amount will be fully credited back into same Member’s account.

5.14 eKENCANA cannot be held responsible for outcome of printout if Member insists on proceeding to print without making recommended correc-tions. Member can contact eKENCANA to proceed for Member’s artwork through phone call or email to eKENCANA’s staff.

5.15 Member shall call eKENCANA staff immediately if member place a wrong order. eKENCANA will not be responsible for any wrong order if member only contact eKENCANA staff 1 hour or later after placing the wrong order. (Sample of wrong order: select wrong product, quantity or uploaded wrong artwork, etc)

5.16 Artwork sent must be in a single layout (Single page in PDF file). Any imposing of the artwork will be done by eKencana. We do not receive book design in spread. Member request to separate spread pages into single page in order for eKENCANA staff to do imposing.

5.17 No changes can be made to the artwork once submitted to eKencana for printing. Only amendments required to correct and complete the pending jobs will be accepted.

5.18 eKENCANA Members are required to resend artwork for every repeat order.

5.19 eKENCANA shall not be held responsible for any copyright infringement of artwork content.

5.20 eKENCANA reserves the right to reject any job/artwork that is deemed to contain offensive literature or images or contents which violated Malaysia laws. eKENCANA has the right not provide any reasons to Member for any rejected job.

5.21 Member shall agree to all the additional terms and conditions stated in each Product Specification, General Artwork Preparation Guides and the Artwork Preparation Guides for each product.

6. General Offset Printing Result

6.1 Colour is one of the biggest concern of eKENCANA. Although there are no 100% colour accuracy from monitor screen to offset printing, eKEN-CANA always make sure that the consistency of every piece of product printed in the same batch will be as close as possible.

6.2 eKENCANA cannot be held liable for colour variations between jobs printed in different batches at different ordering periods. This is because colour reproduction or accuracy is generally subject to the limitations of gang-run printing method. Therefore, the accuracy of colour reproduction is NOT guaranteed.

6.3 Tolerance of the artwork trimming edge is ± 1mm

6.4 For products with Spot UV finishing, tolerance of registration is ± 1mm. Member may not reject order if Spot UV defects affect only 2mm or below of the printed quantity per order.

6.5 For products with Hot-Stamping finishing, tolerance of registration is < 1.5mm

6.6 For product with die-cutting, tolerance of cutting for: ± 1.0mm

6.7 While eKENCANA will take every caution when handling pressure sensitive materials like carbonless copy paper (NCR), we cannot guarantee that they will be completely free of markings after print.

6.8 Finishings such as Spot UV and Hot-stamping may cause the card thickness to become uneven and when packed cards may be become slightly curved. eKENCANA shall not accept any rejects claims for curved Business Cards due to these factors.

6.9 eKENCANA shall not accept rejection if the quantity of imperfect/problem/defect product is lesser than 20% of the total order.

6.10 For reverse printing artwork, all wording that consist font size smaller 10pts and thinner than regular font, the text must add at least 0.2 outline or bold in order to reduce the wording blurry problem. eKENCANA shall not bear the consequences on the wording blurry due to small font size.

6.11 For Offset printing, maximum total ink coverage must not more than 280%.Too much ink coverage may cause wet and off marker registration problem. Hence, members shall take note of this risk and eKencana shall not be held responsible for set off problem cause by total ink coverage is over 280%.

6.12 Text / Fonts in Black colour shall not contain other C,M,Y colour. Mixed colour wording might have off marker registration problem. eKEN-CANA shall not accept any rejects claims if the registration is off more than 1mm.

6.12 All wording that consist font size less than 4 pts and 5 pts under reverse white conditions, must add an outline about 0.3 pts to reduce the wording blurry problem. eKENCANA shall not bear the consequences on the wording blurry due to small font size.

6.13 For Offset printing, maximum total ink coverage must not more than 280%.Too much ink coverage may cause set off problem. Hence, members shall notice this risk and eKENCANA shall not be held responsible for set off problem cause by total ink coverage is over 280%.

6.14 eKencana shall not be held responsible for any Overprint setting in your artwork. eKENCANA shall not bear the consequences of the printing outcome. Hence, please do self-check for any unwanted Overprint setting in your artwork.

6.15 Folding Finishing: When the folding finishing is applied to paper products like Loose Sheet, Money Packet, Booklet, etc., the folding pressure may cause slight paper cracks along the folding line. These cracks will look more noticeable on solid colours. This issue is unavoidable as it is a result of the nature of the paper fibres. Therefore Member agree that eKENCANA shall not be held responsible for this issue and this issue cannot be submitted or reported as a reject.

6.16 For products with Emboss finishing, tolerance of alignment is ±0.25mm. Member may not reject order if Emboss defects affect only 2% or below of the printed quantity per order.

8. Colour Disclaimer (Litho Offset)

eKENCANA budget product is using “batch printing” method in order to provide lower cost for our member. “Batch printing” is gather from different Member’s job with same specification and print together in our maximum print size. Therefore there are no 100% colour accuracy but we will take great effort to match colours as accurately as possible, we cannot be held liable for these marginal colour variations or inaccuracies in the printed matter which may be more evident in reprints. Member shall contact with eKENCANA staff if their job need the colour to be precisely, and eKEN-CANA will arrange the job to print separately with extra cost.

9. Product Refund / Reimbursement

Please e-mail to eKENCANA within 24 hours of receiving your order if you are not satisfied with any product. Please include your Name, contact number, Member number, order number and reason for dissatisfaction. If Member have not received your order within the specified delivery time, please contact us not later than 7 working days from the date of the specified delivery time. Our staff will review your complaint and work with you to meet your expectations.

Terms of refund / reimbursement:We will only reprint or refund the cost of any print job that fails to meet the conditions under the General offset printing result (Please refer point 6). In no way shall either eKENCANA or its subsidiaries, officers, directors, shareholders or employees be liable forany special incidents, indirect or consequential damages, mistakes or rejects of any kind whether or not the party has been advised of the possibility of such damages or rejects arising out of or related to an eKENCANA Member's action(s). The terms and conditions constitute all terms and agreements relating to Members participating in the eKENCANA Member Program.

10. Privacy Policy

10.1 When you sign-up we collect name and address, telephone, email address, user name and password. This provides us with default details for your order processing and sets up security - so viewing of your account details, designs and order history is password protected. You can edit your account details and email address at any time.

10.2 Personal data collected and/or processed by eKENCANA may include but not be limited to the following purposes:- To communicate with you;- To inform you of our products and services;- To respond to your queries;- To send you promotional material;- To comply with regulatory bodies or other government authorities in compliance with requirements under the law or towards the detection or prevention of crime and/or fraud;- For any other purposes that is required or permitted by any law, regulations, guidelines and/or relevant regulatory authorities.

10.3 We collect information to process your order, guide and enhance your online and to supply you with information in which you have expressed an interest. Also, to help you choose the right product and design to suit your purpose/business we ask you to make selections and choices - only the design details are collected if you choose to save or order.

10.4 When you order we allocate you a customer number, capture order details and bank details (if applicable) to process and fulfill your order. Invoicing address and shipping address are retained when you register as a member so you do not have to enter them again. Order details are retained so you can view your order history.

10.5 To assist you with your promotions and marketing, and tailor our service to your needs we will ask you for feedback about your business and any information you may require. Supply of this information other then those that state otherwise is optional and not mandatory. All this data will be stored so we can effectively meet your needs.

10.6 Security - Access to your account data is password protected. Credit card details are processed by our appointed merchant’s secure server.

10.7 Cookies - We use cookies to personalise your interface with the site. They are small packets of data stored by your browser on your comput-er’s hard drive to identify yourself to us. Your browser may have a feature to disable cookies or you can delete them if you wish and your interface will not be severely restricted.

11. Contributions to the eKencana Website

While members are invited to submit any contribution to the eKENCANA Website (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) members agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant Percetakan Kencana Sdn Bhd. a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licenceable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to their contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate their contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the eKENCANA's Privacy Policy. If a member does not want to grant to eKENCANA the rights set out above, that member is prohibited from submitting his/her contribution to the eKENCANA Website.
