Not very long ago, Saudi Arabia was considered still in a premature stage in recognizing creative work. The 2030 Vision is giving a new focused approach to develop more in areas which werent usually given priority. Some of these areas will work as an alternative income generator than the usual dependence on oil and gas. During the last few years, efforts have been very obvious in Saudi to promote creativity through different channels including workshops, art galleries, innovation competitions, etc. There are also initiatives made from different local entities to encourage citizens to get more involved in creative businesses.

Realizing the importance of the creative economy worldwide and how strongly it positively influences the Society, Ejadah Confex was brought to life in 2016 by the Arabian Company for Events & Projects Ltd. (ACE Events) to serve as the first of its kind conference and exhibition to promote the Saudi Creative Economy. The idea of Ejadah has been initiated by the founder of ACE Group, Sherif Muaffac Al-Harith, for over five years. In 2016, we finally planted the first seed to what aims to be the biggest Creative Economy Confex in the GCC area.

The 2017 Ejadah Confex values the work of all local creatives and is shedding light on them through this one of a kind event.
