A PowerPoint Webquest that preps students for a trip back in time to the 1960s. I used it in conjunction with The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton. It could be also be used in a history class. It shows '60s slang, fashion, history, and more.TRANSCRIPT

Through Time!
Your mission…
• Hop into my time machine and explore the 1960s!• If anyone knows you are time traveling you could rip a hole
in space and time thereby causing a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! (Don’t ask how zombies got involved… you know how they just sit around waiting for an excuse to end life as we know it… stupid zombies…)
• We cannot risk tearing the space-time continuum (and zombies), so you will have to learn all about the 60s pop culture to blend in when you get there.
• Follow the instructions on this Webquest and you will learn how to fit in with 1960s Americans.
Your mission…
• Use the blue arrows at the top (or sometimes bottom) corners of the slides to changes slides.
• Click on hyperlinks to explore websites about the 60s if you are watching this in slideshow mode.
• If you are viewing this PowerPoint and see the other slides to your left, then you are not in slideshow mode. You will need to right-click and choose “Open Hyperlink”
• Make sure you follow all directions.
