3. Students are shown the attached chart.
4. Students are asked to answer the following questions:
i. “How many lorries and cars passing by the road on the 1st hour?”
ii. “How many lorries pass the road on the 2nd and 3rd hour?”

STEP 1: OPEN THE EXCEL PROGRAM
Group 3-31. Open the Excel Program.
2. Key in the following data by teacher’s guide.

1. On the 1st row of the 1st column, type “DAY”.2. On the 2nd column of the same row, type “MONDAY”,
next column, “TUESDAY”, and so on, until “FRIDAY”.
3. On the 2nd row of the 1st column, type “SANDWICH”.4. On the 2nd column of the same row, type the number of
the sandwiches sold on each day.5. On the 3rd row of the 1st column, type “BURGER”.6. On the 2nd column of the same row, type the number of
the burgers sold on each day.
STEP 2: DRAW PAIRED BAR CHART
A. Students are asked to do the following instructions:
Highlight all columns and rows that have the data keyed in earlier.
Click “Chart Wizard” from the tool bars. Choose the type of chart we want. i. Choose “column chart” ii. Choose “ bar chart”4. Click “Next”.5. Click “Next” again.
6. Give a title for the chart.
7. Name the x and y axis.
8. Click “Next”
9. Click “Finish”.
10. Students submit the outcomes.
