s’affirme résolument comme le festival central de l’été genevois ! J’ai souhaité en effet renforcer, pour mon année de mairie, l’offre culturelle, festive et spor-tive estivale, tout en améliorant sa promotion et son accessibilité.

La nouveauté 2018 est la proposition d’une semaine complète de concerts : du 6 au 12 août, le parc accueil-lera des concerts chaque soir, allant du jazz islandais d’ADHD à une création folk-classique réunissant l’OCG et Jon Boden, en passant par des soirées dansantes avec la Fanfare Ciocărlia et la cumbia de Chico Trujillo ou encore le reggae de Tiken Jah Fakoly.

Ils compléteront la programmation habituelle, soit plus de trente concerts qui auront lieu sur les mois de juillet et août. En raison des travaux à la cour de l’Hôtel de Ville, ils vous seront proposés soit dans le bel écrin de l’Alhambra et celui du Victoria Hall, soit dans la fraîcheur du parc La Grange.

Mon année de mairie étant placée sous le sceau des enjeux de la digitalisation, vous retrouverez dès la mi-juin toutes ces propositions dans une nouvelle appli-cation mobile nommée « Genève en été », qui intégrera aussi toute l’offre estivale très riche qui est proposée à Genève.

This year, « Musiques en été » confirms its status as THE summer festival in Geneva! For my year as the city’s mayor, I was indeed keen to expand the cultural, festive and sports events on offer over the summer, while enhancing their pro-motion and accessibility.

A special new feature in 2018 is a full week of concerts: from 6th to 12th August, there’ll be concerts in the park every night, ranging from ADHD’s Icelandic jazz to folk-classical creations uniting the OCG and Jon Boden, and not for-getting dance nights with Fanfare Ciocărlia, the cumbia of Chico Trujillo or Tiken Jah Fakoly’s reggae.

These will all take place in addition to the familiar pro-gramme, which boasts no fewer than 30 concerts in July and August. Due to renovation work in the Hôtel de Ville courtyard, they’ll be held either in the beautiful settings of the Alhambra or the Victoria Hall, or in the fresh surroun-dings of Parc La Grange.

Since my year as mayor will be marked by the challenges of digitalisation, all these musical proposals will be available from mid-June onwards via a new mobile app « Genève en été », which will also give details of the rich line-up of summer events on offer in Geneva.

.ch Soirée jazz en perspective ! L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande

nous fait traverser l’Atlantique jusqu’à Broadway, pour y rencon-trer quelques grands noms de la musique américaine, tels Leonard Bernstein et George Gershwin. Le voyage se fait en très bonnes compagnies, avec la chanteuse jazz Sandy Patton et le Suisse Daniel Leveillé, septuple champion du monde de claquettes. A la baguette, un autre Helvète: Ludwig Wicki, chef aux multiples facettes, autant à l’aise avec Palestrina que dans la musique de film.

An evening of jazz in store for you! The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande whisks you across the Atlantic to Broadway for a rendez- vous with some of the biggest names in American music, like Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin. You’ll be travelling in the excellent company of jazz singer Sandy Patton and Swiss tap dancer, seven-time world champion, Daniel Leveillé. Switzerland is also represented by versatile conductor, Ludwig Wicki, equally at ease with Palestrina as with film music.

Des quatuors, des jeunes, de la musique ! Pour Seiji Ozawa, comme pour son premier maître Hideo Saito, le quatuor à cordes est la structure de base de la musique et du jeu orchestral. Le travail d’un quatuor est complexe et exigeant ; c’est un débat permanent pour arriver à une même respiration. En 2004, Ozawa crée en Suisse une académie dont la spécificité est que les élèves travaillent sur deux mouvements, en profondeur, pendant dix jours. Pour Seiji Ozawa, dans un quatuor, il ne suffit pas de savoir jouer, il faut avant tout écouter les autres. L’élément clé, c’est l’oreille.

The Academy: quartets, young people, and music! For Seiji Ozawa, as for his first master, Hideo Saito, the string quartet is the basic structure of music and orchestral playing. The work of a quartet is complex and demanding; there is continuous debate in an effort to arrive at the same phrasing. In 2004, Ozawa created an academy in Switzerland, with the specific goal of having the musicians work in-depth on two movements over ten days. For Seiji Ozawa, in a quartet, it is not enough to know how to play, you must above all listen to the others. Having a good ear is key.

Jazzmeia Horn a un nom qui parle de lui-même et qui la destinait à devenir l’étoile montante du jazz vocal aux Etats-Unis. Lauréate d’une multitude de prix, notamment du Concours International Thelonious Monk 2015, la jeune chanteuse mène maintenant une belle carrière. Son univers fait écho aux grandes chanteuses afro-américaines d’antan et elle est régulièrement comparée à Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan et Nancy Wilson.

Jazzmeia Horn has a name that speaks for itself and which has shaped her destiny as the rising star of vocal jazz in the US. Winner of many accolades, including the 2015 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, this young singer is enjoying a highly successful career. Her musical universe echoes that of her great African American pre-decessors and she’s often compared to Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan and Nancy Wilson.

La célèbre pièce Roméo et Juliette de Shakespeare, qui raconte l’amour malheureux de deux adolescents dans une Vérone mise à sang par les rivalités de deux familles ennemies, a inspiré de nombreuses œuvres musicales. Le Romeo und Julie (1776) du compositeur tchèque Georg Anton Benda (1722-1795), admiré de Mozart, en a été la première adaptation lyrique sous forme de Singspiel (une œuvre théâtrale qui alterne dialogues parlés et airs chantés). Le livret ne retient que l’essentiel de la pièce originale (et propose même une fin heureuse !) pour enchâsser une partition musicale de toute beauté.

Shakespeare’s famous play Romeo and Juliet, which tells the story of two star-crossed lovers in a city of Verona stained with the blood of their two feuding families, has inspired many a musical work. Admired by Mozart, Romeo und Julie (1776) by Czech composer Georg Anton Benda (1722-1795) was the first lyrical adaptation of the play in the form of Singspiel (a theatrical work alternating between spoken dia-logue and song). The libretto captures the essence of the original play (and even proposes a happy ending!), which is the setting for an exqui-site musical score.

Le Kronos Quartet est un quatuor à cordes pas comme les autres qui, depuis plus de quarante ans, cherche à réinventer et redéfinir le répertoire pour sa formation. La création contemporaine est au cœur de son travail, au même titre que de nombreux ponts jetés vers une multitude de styles musicaux. Il se produit ainsi à Genève en compagnie de Mahsa Vahdat, grande dame du chant iranien. Plusieurs des morceaux à l’affiche font partie du programme « Fifty for the Future », une bibliothèque de cinquante œuvres commandées par les quatre musiciens à différents compositeurs de notre temps.

The Kronos Quartet is a group unlike any other, which for over forty years has sought to reimagine and redefine the string quartet repertoire. Their work focuses on contemporary compositions and on building bridges between an eclectic mix of musical styles. Kronos are conse-quently performing in Geneva in collaboration with Mahsa Vahdat, the Grande Dame of Iranian singing. Several of the pieces on the bill come from the “Fifty for the Future” programme, a library of fifty works com-missioned by the four musicians from a number of today’s composers.

Immense et discret, Nelson Goerner est aussi le plus genevois des pianistes à la carrière internationale, puisque c’est dans la cité de Calvin qu’il a étudié, qu’il enseigne et qu’il vit désormais. La musique de Franz Schubert et de Johannes Brahms coule sous ses doigts de maître du romantisme avec évidence et toujours avec poésie, y compris dans les très virtuoses Variations sur un thème de Paganini. Parmi ses compositeurs de prédilection se place aussi Claude Debussy, dont il livre ici l’intégralité du second cahier de Préludes, avec une subtilité à l’image de ces pièces.

The great and discreet Nelson Goerner is also the most Genevan of internationally-renowned pianists, since he formerly studied and now teaches and lives in the city. For this master of Romanticism, the music of Franz Schubert and Johannes Brahms clearly flows from his fingers, and always with poetry, even in the highly virtuosic Variations on a Theme of Paganini. Claude Debussy is also one of his favourite composers, whose complete Preludes Book II he will be performing on this occasion, with a subtlety consistent with these pieces.

Avec leur single Half Crazy, en 2014, ils ont savamment réussi à allier folk et sonorités ouest-africaines. Un métissage détonnant ! Guitare, contrebasse, harpe : impossible de parler aujourd’hui de la création folk canadienne sans mentionner The Barr Brothers. Depuis leur premier album éponyme sorti en 2011, ce groupe enchante la scène musicale québécoise et américaine notamment.

With their 2014 single Half Crazy, this group skilfully succeeded in combining folk and West African sounds. An explosive mix! Guitar, double bass and harp: any mention of Canadian folk music today has to include The Barr Brothers. Since their first album released in 2011, this band has cast its spell on the Quebec and US music scene in particular.

Le fantastique The Mingus Big Band a été créé après la mort du contrebassiste légendaire Charles Mingus dans le but de perpé-tuer l’héritage musical exceptionnel laissé par celui-ci. L’orchestre accueille les musiciens les plus réputés de la scène jazz actuelle et ses concerts hebdomadaires depuis bientôt trente ans dans un club new-yorkais sont devenus légendaires !Le Time Out décrit le groupe en ces termes : « Le big band le plus branché de l’univers – robuste, terreux, sanctifié ! »

The fantastic Mingus Big Band was created following the death of the legendary bassist Charles Mingus to perpetuate the legacy of his exceptional musical heritage. The ensemble draws on the talents of top jazz musicians, and its weekly concerts held now for almost thirty years in a New York club have become legendary! Time Out describes the group as: “The hippest big band in the universe - robust, earthy, sanctified!”

Vainqueur du prestigieux Concours ARD de Munich en 2008, le Quatuor Apollon Musagète est l’une des valeurs sûres dans cette formation toujours exigeante. Il nous emmène aux quatre coins de l’Europe : en Russie d’abord, avec le Quatuor no 2 du rare Anton Arensky, compositeur romantique élève de Nikolaï Rimski-Korsakov. Direction le Nord ensuite, dans la Finlande de Jean Sibelius, avant de revenir à l’Est, en Bohême, pour le quator-zième et ultime quatuor d’Antonín Dvořák, qu’il écrivit au retour de son séjour en Amérique.

Winner of the prestigious 2008 ARD International Music Competition in Munich, Quatuor Apollon Musagète is one of the sure-fire quartets in this consistently-challenging formation. Its musicians take us on a journey all over Europe: to Russia first, with Quartet No. 2 by the rare-ly-performed Anton Arensky, romantic composer and pupil of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Then it’s off north to the Finland of Jean Sibelius, before heading back eastwards to Bohemia for Antonín Dvořák’s 14th and last quartet, written on his return from his stay in America.

Baloji, voilà un nom désormais incontournable de la scène rap et hip-hop belge. Avec son dernier album 137 Avenue Kaniama sorti cette année, le rappeur nous ramène aux heures de gloire du soukouss et de la rumba congolaise portée jadis par Franco, Tabu Ley ou encore Papa Wemba. L’ancien MC Balo du groupe Starflam signe depuis 2008 en solo sous le nom de Baloji. C’est débordant d’énergie que le rappeur belgo-congolais slame sa vie d’Afropéen et son désir de voir prospérer le continent qui l’a vu naître. En français, swahili et lingala, sa musique est une vraie invitation au voyage.

Baloji is now a major figure on the Belgian rap and hip-hop scene. With his latest album 137 Avenue Kaniama released this year, the rap-per takes us back to the heyday of soukous and Congolese rumba and the likes of Franco, Tabu Ley and Papa Wemba. Engagés depuis longtemps déjà dans une imposante intégrale des cantates de Johann Sebastian Bach, Stephan MacLeod et son ensemble Gli Angeli font halte dans Musiques en été avec trois œuvres profanes et festives. La cantate BWV 207a célèbre l’anni-versaire du roi de Saxe, tandis que la partition BWV 30a chante les louanges d’un fonctionnaire anobli. La fameuse Cantate du café BWV 211 est la plus originale : en une sorte de petite comédie, elle rend hommage à cette boisson qui, depuis le début du 18e siècle, faisait fureur, tout particulièrement auprès des femmes.

Long-dedicated to an impressive Complete Cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach, Stephan MacLeod and his ensemble Gli Angeli are stopping off at Musiques en été to perform three of the composer’s secular and celebratory works. Cantata BWV 207a was written to mark the Elector of Saxony’s name day, while cantata BWV 30a sings the praises of an ennobled administrative official. The famous Coffee Cantata BWV 211 is the most original: in a sort of miniature comic opera, it pays tribute to this beverage which came into fashion in the early 18th century, especially among women.

On embarque pour la côte pacifique de l’Amérique latine avec l’histoire d’une bande de quatre copains d’école que la musique réunira bien au-delà des frontières : Ramón, Grimaldo, Rafael et Carlos. En 2001, ils fondent le groupe Novalima. Leur tube Machete est la bande originale du film culte de Robert Rodriguez qui porte le même nom. Ils puisent leur inspiration dans les rythmes latinos mais surtout dans les sonorités afro-péruviennes fusionnées aux beats électroniques. Avec un tel cocktail, impossible de ne pas danser jusqu’au bout de la nuit.

Head off to the Pacific coast of Latin America and the story of four former high-school friends united by music across international boundaries: Ramón, Grimaldo, Rafael and Carlos. In 2001, they founded the group Novalima. Their hit Machete featured on the soundtrack of Robert Rodriguez’s cult movie of the same name. They draw their inspiration from Latin rhythms and especially from Afro-Peruvian sounds fused with electronic beats. Impossible not to dance all night with such a mix!

Claudio Monteverdi ne fait pas seulement partie des fondateurs de l’opéra, il a aussi révolutionné la manière de mettre un texte en musique et de le faire dialoguer avec les instruments. C’est à ce compositeur essentiel et à son univers musical que Leonardo García Alarcón et son ensemble Cappella Mediterranea dédient leur programme Lettera amorosa, construit autour d’une série de morceaux pour voix seule et orchestre. Et puisqu’il est ici question de dialogue, quelques pages de Francesco Cavalli viendront rap-peler à notre mémoire cet autre pionnier du genre lyrique.

Claudio Monteverdi was not only one of the founders of opera, he also revolutionised how a text is put to music and made to dialogue with the instruments. Leonardo García Alarcón and his ensemble Cappella Mediterranea are dedicating their programme Lettera amorosa, built around a series of pieces for solo voice and orchestra, to this major composer and his musical universe. And since it’s a question of dia-logue here, some selected pages composed by Francesco Cavalli are included to remind us of this other pioneer of the lyric genre.

Que d’énergie, ce groupe ! Faisant référence aux légendes du Hammond B-3 des année 60, en passant par l’afrobeat et le Rock n’Roll, la musique des Danois d’Ibrahim Electric s’incrustera dans votre corps sans que vous puissiez y résister ! Ce trio est certai-nement l’un des plus excitants groupes de jazz/soul européens de ces dernières années. Leur musique extravertie, provocante est littéralement envoûtante.

This group has incredible energy! Drawing on the Hammond B-3 leg-ends of the 60s, Afrobeat and Rock’n’Roll, Ibrahim Electric’s music grabs hold of you in such a way that you simply can’t resist! This Danish trio is certainly one of the most exciting European jazz/soul bands to emerge in recent years. Their extroverted, provocative music is literally mesmerising.

Le quatuor avec piano est un genre plutôt rare. Profitons donc de la présence du Quatuor Schumann qui nous offre deux œuvres phares de ce répertoire : d’abord l’un des deux opus fondateurs de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, avec son Quatuor en mi bémol majeur KV 493 écrit en 1786. Place ensuite au Quatuor en la majeur op. 26 de Johannes Brahms, immense partition de conception presque symphonique, mais qui démontre aussi toute la connaissance et la proximité que le compositeur entretenait avec l’héritage de Franz Schubert.

The piano quartet is a relatively rare genre. Time to make the most, then, of the presence of the Schumann Quartet, who’ll be performing two key works from this repertoire. The first is one of two seminal works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, his Quartet in E flat major KV 493 written in 1786. Then comes the Quartet in A major op. 26 by Johannes Brahms, an immense score almost symphonic in conception, but which also demonstrates the composer’s extensive knowledge of and kinship with the legacy of Franz Schubert.

Bassiste du groupe Woods puis chanteur et guitariste au sein de The Babies, il évolue en solo depuis 2013 avec la parution de son premier album Harlem River. Avec ses textes aussi profonds que tou-chants, Kevin Morby s’est indiscutablement imposé comme l’un des plus grands auteurs-compositeurs rock-folk de sa génération. What an amazing musical career already for this artist, only 30 years old! Formerly bassist with the group Woods and singer and guitarist with The Babies, Kevin Morby began a solo career in 2013 with the release of his first album Harlem River. This was followed in 2014 by Still Life and by Singing Saw in 2016 and City Music in 2017. With his deep and moving lyrics, Kevin Morby is now indisputably one of the greatest rock-folk songwriters of his generation. Trois artistes pour autant de configurations : trio, sonate en duo pour piano et violon ainsi que pour piano et violoncelle. Si on ne présente plus la Sonate de César Franck, parlons alors de celle d’Alfred Schnittke, ouvrage d’une force inouïe où l’auteur se plaît à remettre en question formes et langage classiques. Si nous savons que Dmitri Chostakovitch a dédié son Trio à son plus proche ami récemment décédé, n’oublions pas que celui de Maurice Ravel est achevé en 1914, dans les premiers jours d’une guerre où son auteur allait volontairement s’engager.

Three artists who form the same number of different configurations: trio, duo sonata for piano and violin and for piano and cello. As César Franck’s Sonata requires absolutely no introduction, let’s mention instead the one by Alfred Schnittke, an extraordinarily powerful piece in which the composer delights in questioning classical forms and language. Though we know Dmitry Shostakovich dedicated his Trio to his recently deceased and closest friend, we shouldn’t forget that the one by Maurice Ravel was completed in 1914, during the first days of a war for which its composer voluntarily enlisted.

Les musiciens de l’ensemble I Gemelli nous emmènent aux ori-gines de l’opéra et du nouveau style vocal qui l’a rendu possible : la monodie accompagnée. Claudio Monteverdi, Jacopo Peri ou encore Marco da Gagliano ont livré, à l’aube du 17e siècle, les tout premiers ouvrages lyriques. Contemporaines, Le nuove musiche de Giulio Caccini forment un recueil essentiel et fondateur d’arias et de madrigaux. Ce concert est comme un voyage dans le labora-toire originel d’un des genres les plus importants de l’histoire de la musique.

The musicians in the I Gemelli ensemble take us back to the origins of opera and the new vocal style that made it possible: the accom-panied monody. At the turn of the 17th century, Claudio Monteverdi, Jacopo Peri and Marco da Gagliano composed the very first lyric works. Contemporary with these, Giulio Caccini’s Nuove musiche is a highly significant and foundational collection of arias and madrigals. This concert is like a journey back in time to the earliest experiments in one of the history of music’s most important genres.

C’est avec son deuxième album paru en 2005, Le Fil, que Camille s’est fait connaître. Qui ignore son titre Ta douleur ? Disque de platine et deux Victoires de la musique pour l’artiste et l’album révélation. Sa voix parfois vaporeuse, pulsatile, très souvent suave, est un vrai terrain d’expérimentation musicale. Avec son der-nier album, Ouï, elle réalise un véritable tour de force : un savant mélange de sa voix singulière et de tambour. On y ajoutera des chœurs lyrique et rythmique. Comme ça fait du bien d’écouter ces mélodies sobres et minimalistes ! Allez, allez, allons !

The Icelandic group ADHD is a revelation on the European music scene. These four Vikings, who’ve known each other since childhood, create a sound that captures something of the infinite wide space of the North, where far vistas are only interrupted by volcanoes whose names even trained newsreaders find difficult to pronounce. La musique dite « savante » et la musique folklorique n’ont jamais été aussi proches qu’au 20e siècle, comme en témoignent la pétillante English Folk Song Suite de Ralph Vaughan Williams ou les envoûtants Folk Songs de Luciano Berio qui illustrent deux manières de s’approprier un matériau traditionnel. Et L’Orchestre de Chambre de Genève a décidé de rapprocher encore plus ces deux mondes en invitant Jon Boden, chanteur et joueur de fiddle (violon populaire), habitué lui aussi à franchir la barrière des genres et des styles.

So-called «academic» music and folk music were never closer than in the 20th century, as illustrated by Ralph Vaughan Williams’ scintillat-ing English Folk Song Suite or Luciano Berio’s captivating Folk Songs: two alternative approaches to adapting traditional material. The Geneva Chamber Orchestra has decided to bring these two worlds even closer together with the participation of invited singer and fiddler Jon Boden, also no stranger to crossing genre and style barriers.

L’aîné, Wilhelm Friedemann, eut de la peine à sortir de l’ombre de son père, malgré quelques indéniables audaces. Le cadet, Johann Christian, accomplit la car-rière la plus internationale, maître de l’opéra mais aussi du clavier : ses concertos sont un jalon dans le développement de ce genre. Carl Philipp Emanuel est enfin le plus expérimentateur, le plus sur-prenant, le plus inclassable, le seul aussi qui connut une gloire posthume. Quelle famille !

There’s a family portrait lined up for you this evening at the Alhambra with Johann Sebastian Bach and his three most famous sons. The eldest, Wilhelm Friedemann, composed works of undeniable audac-ity despite his difficulty in emerging from his father’s shadow. The youngest, Johann Christian, the one with the most international career, was a master of both opera and keyboard: his concertos represent a milestone in the development of this genre. L’éternelle beauté des formes baroques au service de la pro-fondeur de l’expression, voilà ce que propose la Camerata Bern. Entre la Grande fugue de Ludwig van Beethoven, éternellement contemporaine, et la Chaconne de Krzysztof Penderecki, écrite à la mort de Jean-Paul II, s’intercalent deux partitions de Dmitri Chostakovitch : un arrangement de sa Sonate pour violon, avec sa passacaille conclusive, et une version pour orchestre à cordes de son Quatuor no 8, œuvre aux textures richement polyphoniques, dédiée aux victimes du fascisme et de la guerre.

From the eternal beauty of Baroque musical forms, Camerata Bern shapes a deeply expressive performance. Between Ludwig van Beethoven’s ever-contemporary Great Fugue and Krzysztof Penderecki’s Ciaccona, composed on the death of John Paul II, are interposed two scores by Dmitri Shostakovich: an arrangement of his Sonata for Violin, with its concluding passacaglia, and a string orchestra version of his Quartet No. 8, a work of rich polyphonic tex-tures, dedicated to victims of fascism and war.

Yasmine Hamdan has been an undisputed figure on the underground Arab music scene for several years now. She started out in Lebanon with the band Soapkills, before turning solo in 2012. Brilliantly combining the Arabic, hip-hop and electronic musical genres, her performances are an impressive mix of Oum Kalhtoum and Massive Attack or Leila Mourad and Portishead. Singing in French, English and Arabic, she has all it takes to surprise and seduce her audiences.

Tout commence en 2014 aux funérailles du grand poète et militant du mouvement Black Power, Amiri Baraka. C’est là que le jazz et le rap célèbrent leurs noces. D’un côté, David Murray, avec les notes free jazz de son saxophone, nous transporte comme par enchan-tement. De l’autre côté, Saul Williams, l’homme des lettres, récite des poèmes aux vers tranchants. Ces deux immenses artistes, depuis lors, ne se quittent pas. Ils se produisent ensemble sur les scènes du monde pour le plus grand bonheur des mélomanes et surtout pour la cause des Noirs aux Etats-Unis.

Everything started back in 2014 and the funeral of the great poet and Black Power movement activist, Amiri Baraka. This is where jazz and rap celebrate their fusion. On one hand, there’s David Murray and the free jazz notes of his saxophone that magically transport us to another world, and on the other, Saul Williams, man of letters, who recites incisive verses from his poems. These two huge artists have been inseparable ever since. They perform together on the world’s stages to the great delight of music lovers and, above all, to advance the cause of Black rights in the US.

En cas de temps incertainLes concerts de la Scène Ella Fitzgerald ne sont pas déplacés. En cas de risques météo élevés et pour des raisons de sécurité, certains concerts peuvent toutefois être annulés. Prière de se conformer aux directives des organisateurs sur place. Exceptions : le concert classique du 6 juillet peut être reporté au lendemain sur la Scène Ella Fitzgerald ou au Victoria Hall en fonc-tion de la météo. Le concert du 7 août peut également être déplacé au Victoria Hall. Prière de se renseigner le jour même au no 1600, rubrique 5, dès 14h.

Please follow the instructions given by the organisers present.Exceptions : the classical concerts on July 6th may be moved to July 7th at the Ella Fitzgerald Stage, or in the Victoria Hall.
