REDANCE / THImBLES

Le Redance sono disponibili in una varietà di modelli e misure. Noi possiamo fornire qualsiasi tipo richiesto di redancia dalle redance piene alle “bussole” (ralle), ecc. Comunque il tipo normalmente usato risulta soddisfacente praticamente per tutte le applicazioni.Al momento dell’ordine bisogna sempre specificare come deve essere misurata la lunghezza, la pratica più correntemente usata è quella di misurare la lunghezza da interno a interno redancia e questa generalmente si definisce lunghezza utile.Thimbles are available in a variety of models and sizes. Esiste un unico modo, qui sotto descritto, per fissare i morsetti alla fune:1. Piegare la fune intorno al morsetto e collocare un fissaggio immediatamente dietro il morsetto per tenerlo saldo.2. Porre i morsetti sulla fune, i cavallotti a U all’estremità più corta della fune e le sedi di supporto all’altra estremità. Serrare il morsetto che è più distante dal manicotto e serrare gli altri morsetti, tanto da evitare che essi si spostino.3. Per eliminare qualsiasi gioco nella fune tra i morsetti, tendere la fune con lieve sforzo, poi serrare saldamente gli altri morsetti e togliere il bloccaggio.4. I morsetti dovrebbero essere nuovamente serrati i dopo un breve periodo di attività perché la fune si assotiglia ponendo i fili sotto carico.Poiché la fune diventa più sottile anche con il semplice passare del tempo si raccomanda che i morsetti siano serrati di nuovo di tanto in tanto.

There is only one method to lock the clips to the rope and it is described below:1. Bend the rope around the terminal and place the locking immediately behind the terminal to keep it steady.2. Place the terminals on the rope, the U-bolts on the shortest end of the rope and the support seats on the other end. Lock the terminal that is most distant from the socket and lock the other terminals sufficiently tightly to avoid movement.3. To eliminate any possible leeway on the rope among the terminals, pull the rope slightly then lock tightly the other terminals and remove the blocking.The terminals should be tightened again after a short period of activity since the rope thins when the wires are loaded. Since the rope becomes naturally thinner over time, it is recommended that the terminals are tightened again from time to time.

E’ ovvio che i due dadi di ciascun morsetto devono essere serrati allo stesso modo altrimenti il morsetto si piegherà.It is obvious that the two nuts of each terminal must be tightened equally, otherwise the terminal will bend.

This is valid when the supply conditions are standard. Using terminals under non-standard supply conditions (E.g.: greasing of the U-bolt thread), implies a different coefficient of friction, which is difficult to measure and leads to a different locking torque value.

La distanza tra un morsetto e l’altro dovrebbe essere uguale alla lunghezza del passo della fune e il numero di morsetti dipende dal diametro della fune, il carico cui essa è sottoposta e l’impiego cui è destinata. Di norma il numero varia da 3 a 6, secondo la dimensione della fune.Per carichi pesanti a uso frequente è consigliabile utilizzare uno o due morsetti in più. Anche per una fune con anima d’acciaio si consiglia l’uso di un morsetto in più.

Occorre sottolineare ancora una volta che i cavallotti ad U di tutti i morsetti dovrebbero essere posti sulla estremità corta e i punti di sup-porto sull’estremità libera. I cavallotti ad U comprimono notevolmente la fune e la schiacciano; questa è una forma di deterioramento,che se intervenisse sulla estremità libera causerebbe una notevole perdita nella resistenza alla rottura.

The distance between one terminal and the other should be equal to the pitch’s length of the rope; the quantity of terminals depends instead on the diameter of the rope, on the load that is applied to it, and on its application. Normally, the quantity varies from 3 to 6, depending on the rope dimensions. For heavy loads that are applied frequently, it is advisable to use one or two additional terminals. This type of lug is mounted at the side of the container (up or down) and has a spring-loaded bolt to prevent accidental release. It has been designed for use with lifting beam. Designed to eliminate the dangerous use of standard hook, these lugs cannot drop out when the slings becomes lack. Lugs are handed left and right.

CLT (ex MKlla) - Autobloccante e adatto al collegamento con imbrago per sollevamento in verticale. Adatto per l’utilizzo con bilancino. La linguetta di sicurezza presente sul golfare, quando inserito nel blocco d’angolo del container e poi fato ruotare, scende e impedisce al terminale di sfilarsi. Disponibile come set di 4 con un SWL totale di 56 tonnellate.

Self-locking and suitable for shackling direct to 4 vertical sling. For use with a spreader beam, do not project over container. The lug engages in the top corner and when turned through 90 degrees a lock ring drops and secures the lug. Available as a set of 4 with a total SWL of 56 tones.

ISTRUZIONI D’ USO - APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Capicorda a cuneo autobloccante

Montate sempre la parte caricata della fune al centro del perno (Vedi immagini a pag. 61).Fissate saldamente l’estremità inattiva con un morsetto per fune metallica.Non collegate il cavo caricato all’estremità inattiva.L’ estremità inattiva deve avere una lunghezza pari a 6 volte il diametro del cavo ed un minimo di 150mm.Verificate con attenzione che dopo il primo carico la fune metallica ed il cuneo siano completamente in sede.Un carico potrebbe scivolare se il collegamento non è stato effettuato correttamente.Ispezionate il collegamento regolarmente.L’ efficienza del collegamento di una fune a 6 e 8 trefoli / capicorda a cuneo è equivalente all’ 80% del minimo carico di rottura del cavo, ma è limitata dal minimo carico di rottura del capocorda (MBL).

Wedge SocketsAlways mount the loaded part of the wire in the centre line of the pin (see figures pag. 61).Secure the dead end with a wire rope clip.Do not attach the loaded wire to the dead end.The dead end should have a length of 6 times the wire diameter with a minimum of 150mm.Inspect after the first load that the wire rope and wedge are fully seated.A load may slip if the connection is not properly installed.Inspect the connection regularly.The efficiency of a 6 and 8 strand wire rope/wedge socket connection is 80% of the minimum breaking load of the wire but limited to the minimum breaking load of the socket (MBL).

Capicorda a pressareI capicorda a pressare sono raccomandati per l’ uso con 6x19 o 6x37 IWRC funi ad anima metallica standard. Sono indicati anche per funi spiroidali. Non sono raccomandati per l’uso con funi ad anima tessile o con lunghe funi ad anima metallica.Con i prodotti riportati sopra è necessario seguire metodi di preassatura adeguati. Pressature multiple e progressive sono necessarie per prevenire sbavature che potrebbero trasformarsi in incisioni permanenti o in cricche del manicotto.Un leggero olio lubrificante dovrebbe essere usato su ogni terminale e rimosso/pulito dopo la pressatura.

Swage socketsSpelter sockets are recommended for use with 6x19 or 6x37 IWRC regular lay ropes. They can be also used for galvanized bridge rope. They are not recommended for use with fibre core ropes or long lay ropes.Proper swaging methods must be followed for the abovementioned products. Multiple progressive pressing are required to prevent flash, which could develop into a permanent mark or possibly a crack in the sleeve.A light oil lubricant should be applied to each die and wiped clean after swaging.For swaging practice details contact the die manufacturer.Properly applied swage sockets have an efficiency rating of 100%. This rating is based on the catalogue strength of wire rope.Caution: Proper swaging practices are the sling manufacturer’s responsibility.

Carichi di rotturaBreaking load

Il carico di rottura indicato (BL=Breaking Load) si intende per calza tiracavi regolarmente montata, con il cavo (o assimilabile) intro-dotto per tutta la lunghezza utile della calza tiracavi, con testa conica senza spigoli vivi, utilizzata con tiro regolare, ad angolazione 0°, in assenza di qualsiasi piegamento e/o torsione.The indicated breaking load (BL=Breaking Load) refers to normally attached cable pulling socks, with the cable (or comparable item) introduced into the whole useful length of the cable pulling sock, with the conical head without sharp corners, used with a normal pull at an angle of 0°, in the absence of any bends and/or twists.

Il carico di lavoro massimo consentito della calza tiracavi (WL=Working Load) deve essere pari a 1/5 del carico di rottura indicato (D.P.R. 673 p. e s.). (Es.: una calza tiracavi avente carico di rottura di 10.000 Kg. potrà essere utilizzata con un carico di lavoro massimo di 2.000 Kg. in condizioni di utilizzo regolari).The maximum working load achieved by the cable-pulling sock (WL=Working Load) must not exceed 1/5 of the breaking load shown (D.P.R. 673 for example). Si raccomanda l’uso del giunto girevole per evitare torsioni e l’applicazione di una fascetta stringicavo nella parte terminale della calza tiracavi regolarmente montata onde evitare impuntamenti in fase di ritorno.We recommend the use of rotating joints to avoid twisting and the application of a normally attached cable tie at the end of the cable-pulling sock to avoid digging in during the return stage.

In presenza di qualunque variazione dell’angolazione di tiro e/o di torsioni e/o di piegamenti, la portata della calza tiracavi si riduce proporzionalmente alla mancata regolare distribuzione del carico su tutti i fili compotenti la calza tiracavi.In the presence of any change in the direction of pull and/or obstructions and/or bends, the load capacity of the cable-pulling sock reduces in proportion to the loss of normal load distribution on all the component wires in the cable-pulling sock.

A richiesta sono disponibili anche in fune acciaio inossidabile (AISI) 316.On request, they are also available in stainless steel (AISI) 316.

Per la merce offerta o venduta prima dello sdoganamento i termini di consegna non saranno in alcun caso impegnativi per noi, ed eventuali ritardi per cause indipendenti da noi o dalle nostre fornitrici estere non potranno costituire motivo di annullamento dell’ordine né di ritardo nel pagamento o di reclamo per danni da parte dell’acquirente. Per poter essere preso in considerazione, ogni reclamo dovrà essere basato su dati di fatto concreti e precisati. Nessun reclamo per vizi, difetti, natura e qualità della merce, ritardi nelle con-segne (se da noi espressamente accettato, un termine impegnativo di consegna), potrà essere fatto valere, neppure in via giudiziaria se non avrà avuto luogo il regolare pagamento della partita alla quale il reclamo si riferisce. Nel caso di restituzione di merci oggetto di reclamo queste dovranno esserci spedite in porto franco a rischio del mittente: in difetto di ciò possiamo rifiutarci al ritiro.
