The Forbury has been described as ‘The UK’s Sexiest Townhouse Hotel’ by The Evening Standard and the design and opulence is the talk of the fashionable set.

From the 86,000 Italian glass beads in the chandelier running the height of the building in the old lift shaft, to the opulent fabrics and wallpapers and attention to every single detail -

there is simply no place in the UK as extraordinarily opulent and stunning.

In our award winning Cerise Restaurant, diners can enjoy relaxed traditional English cooking in chic and stylish surroundings. Our a la carte menu is seasonal with our award winning kitchen team sourcing local produce for a truly memorable experience. Our bar menu

offers all day dining in our cocktail bar or outside on our terrace, perfect for those ladies that lunch or a meal with friends after work. We aim to cater for all occasions and tastes whilst retaining our focus on delivering our interpretation of contemporary British dishes.

Our Cerise Cocktail Bar is rapidly building a reputation for the place to be seen outside of London; the team designs our list around classic drinks alongside some of their own creations. Our award winning wine list allows you to travel all over the world experiencing the finest wines from a range of producers.

Born in Lure in the Comte region of Eastern France, Daniel was enthralled with cooking from an early age. After leaving school he took up a three year apprenticeship with Chef Yves Lalloz in Luxeuil-les-Bains. His career has since taken him all over the world including Sweden and France and in London he worked at the highly acclaimed Le Gavroche under the tutelage of Michel Roux.
