YEAR 2 EASTER HOLIDAY PROJECT Monday 6 April - Friday 17 April Easter Yarn Project You will need: Scissors Cardboard Paper Googly eyes (eyes can also be made from paper cut outs) Glue Yarn 1. Cut out the shape of a carrot. Make sure to leave the carrot top on to wrap green yarn around it. 2. Cut an oval shape to be used as the body of the chick. Feel free to use any other Easter inspired shape! 6. Your Easter cutouts are complete! Can you think of any other creave ways to decorate your cut outs? What other Easter inspired shapes could you use? Puppet Show! Use your cut outs to create a story. 5. Glue any addional pieces onto your cut outs. 3. Put glue on one side of the cardboard cut out and then start wrapping the yarn around it. 4. Wrap the yarn in different direcons to create more of an arsc effect. Easter Yarn Project

You will need:

• Scissors

• Cardboard

• Paper

• Googly eyes (eyes can also be made from paper cut outs)

• Glue

• Yarn

1. Cut out the shape of a carrot. Make

YEAR 2 EASTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES Monday 6 April - Friday 17 April

Here are some creative projects that you can complete using toilet role tubes:

1. Bend and shape the tube to create a stamp!

2. Dip these in paint and create a picture or Easter card.

3. You can use whatever shape you like.

1. Bend two tubes to create bunny ears and glue these onto another tube. 2. The use this as a stamp to create bunnies!

1. Draw the outline of an Easter egg. 2. Dip the toilet paper tube into paint and then use this as a stamp. 3. Colour in the pattern that you have created. 4. Decorate however you like!
