One of Our Summer School Programs

Each week the children studied a particular city or country.

Through community outings students gained multifaceted learning opportunities in both the academic and social domains.

Through these community based activities students were provided the opportunity to apply their new skills.

Intensive Needs Classes

We offer specially designed programs for students with communication delays including Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorder.

Students may require a specialized way of learning, such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), in a class with no more than 8 students.

Behavior intervention and modifications are an important part of the program.

School To Work Partnerships Eastchester High School

This program is provided during the school day for students with special needs to assist in the development of social skills and to help students gain work experience.

The employer gains access to reliable and productive workers, and prepares students to transition to a productive

adult life and become active members of their community.

Integration of TechnologyUsing iPads

iPads continue to be instrumental for students with disabilities.

Students are using iPads to learn and reinforce academic skills using appropriate educational apps; to develop social skills; to share information and in some instances iPads are used to help students communicate.

We are learning more about how to use iPads to support curriculum for students.
