The Eastern Alliance for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (EAST) at the University of Southern Maine is working with Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) to assess the impact of EAST Institutes. EDC is a nonprofit research and development organization dedicated to improving the quality, effectiveness, and equity of education. We ask you to complete the survey below to help EAST and EDC understand how the EAST Institute was implemented and what impact it had on participating students. By participating you may influence the development and refinement of the Institutes offered through EAST. The risks associated with participating in this research are expected to be minimal. Although a breach of confidentiality is possible, we have made every effort to minimize this chance. We ask for your name on the survey, but we will not use your name as we analyze the data.
