Shri Kumareshwar College of Education (SKCE) is situated in the rural backward area inHangal, Haveri.District of Karnataka. Running a Quality Education Institution in an area which is educationally and

becomes a huge challenge in a rural area as majority of the students teachers joining the college are with arural background and have their own limitations due to missing out on urban education atmosphere.
Kannada is the predominantly spoken languages in this area. At SKCE emphasis is also given on sports aswe believe that a good brain must be housed in a good body. SKCE is dedicated to function as a Quality
center in Higher Education in this most backward and rural part of our country. SKCE has produced about2700 talented and dedicated Student teachers since its inception in 1986, fulfilling the aspirations and
expectations of the people of this region.
