DoDEA Virtual High School Library
There is nothing wrong with including other people's findings or creativity as a part of a project as long as proper
credit is given to those people within the project. The goal should be to look at what other people have done, an-
alyze that information and properly synthesize it into the work.
You can use our online library to do research to find information on various topics. The DoDEA Virtual High
School (DVHS) eLibrary collection includes fiction and non-fiction eBook titles and curriculum reference materi-
als selected specifically to support DVHS curriculum and instruction. A link to the DVHS eLibrary is provided in
every course. Teachers can use these materials when planning instruction, and students may use them to sup-
plement their learning or to pursue further interests within the content area they are studying. Due to product
licensing and subscription requirements, only DVHS students are authorized to use the DVHS eLibrary.

Herearethestepsforcreatingasolid ilemanagementforyourschoolwork.Itdoesnotmatterwhatoperatingsystem(Mac,Windows,Linux)thatyouuse,the ilesystemisthesame.
Beginbyidentifyingwhereonyourcomputeryouwillsaveyour iles.AgoodplaceiseitherontheDesktoporintheMyDocumentsfolder.Youmayevenhaveajumpdriveorportabledrive.
Onceyouchooseyourlocation,createafolder.Themethodwillvarydependingonthecomputeryouuse.Youcaneitherright‐clickandchoose"NewFolder,”orgototheFilemenuandchoose"NewFolder.”Nameyourfolder.
InsideyournewCoursefolder,createonefolderforclasswork.Youshouldusetheseindividualfolderswhenyousaveyourwork.
Whencreating ilenamesremember:
Onlyletters,numbersandtheunderscore(_)areallowed.Othersymbolscancausecorruptedilesthatwon’topen.
